I really don't get how anyone thinks gaming now is more expensive? Back when I had my NES not only were prices higher there was no other way to get games really except in stores. Now with online stores, digital sales and 2nd hand in store or on Ebay is way cheaper.

Yeah. I remember NES games being more expensive than they are now. Add on inflation and its even higher than now.

Why would Sony need to show their cards though? Between Spiderman 2, Balders Gate 3, FF16 they'll absolutely destroy Xbox in terms of quality single player games. What single player games on Xbox can even come close to those 3 games?!
Also Naughty Dog just literally confirmed they're working on a new single player game too. So they're going to continue doing what works for them which has been single player games.
