The game in 2018 when the game sold 90 million copies was averaging $25 million every 10 days. That's $912.5 million a year and the game has gone up from 90 million in 2018 to just confirmed in May 2023 to 180 million copies. So they've definitely made over $4 billion easily since 2018.
Schilling is one thing, but, delusional Xbox fans actually think a game that launched to $1 billion revenue in 3 days of launch and has done at least $9 billion since that launch...

Honestly if you believe GTA 6 will be on Gamepass day 1 you're absolutely an idiot. Sorry no way does GTA 6 EVER launch on Gamepass. They would probably have to pay Rockstar something like $500 million - $1 billion for just their 1st month sales alone because GTA 6 will most likely launch and do $1 billion day 1 this time.

GTA 6 will be on Gamepass, but, only after it has outsold GTA 5. So GTA 6 only needs to sell about 200 million before it hits though. Lol

PS2 had a whole slew of games though. The Xbox does not have exclusives to that magnitude however.
Just watch games like Baldurs Gate 3 start to slip away from Xbox. Developers will just use Bethesdas reasoning and say why bother with 2 more versions we can just stick to PC and PS5. Add in that most gamers on Xbox expect games on Gamepass and already buying less games and the decision will be even easier to make.
