"The numbers are likely close to the mark than people think"
"Honestly i try to post facts stop being fanboys and look at what both companies have....."
You said VGChartz numbers were closer then we thought. FACT
We corrected you because you were wrong and even told you how they undertracked PS4 in March by over 100,000 units which is a ridiculously huge margin of error. FACT
Now your calling out people a...
They aren't 'closer' like you suggest. They go back and edit their numbers after NPD are release. Their numbers always undertrack PS4 by a wide margin. You expect us to believe that VGchartz is 'closer to the mark',?! When they undertracked PS4 by over 100,000 in March?! Yeah logical.
MS and Phil Harrison did not confirm anything other than they shipped 5 million units.
Apparently Halo MCC has more value so it's some kind of exception that's ok, but, the best rated game of last gen and currently the best rated this gen too isn't worth remastering.
My store sold all our stock within days of launch. Its moved more units then Titanfall for the same period of time and I am turning people away regularly. So no this is for all those people who didn't own a PS3 and now have PS4's.
Marioland and Kirby were my favourites hands down.
Don't forget PS4 console exclusives/ 3rd party exclusives.
Bound By Flame
Natural Doctrine
Guilty Gear Xrd
Tropico 5
Samurai Warrior 4
Moto GP 14
Air Force Conflicts: Vietnam
Akiba's Trip
UK exclusives like:
Tour de France 2014 are also available only on PS4/PS3 NOT Xbone.
Titanfall was on PC
Dead Rising 3 is coming to Steam
Project Spark is on PC as well.
Do 'console' exclusives not matter? Didn't all the 360 fans say that they had 'console' exclusives when you ran out of actual exclusives?
Now if it's on PC and not only on the console of your choice it doesn't count? Right, got it.
"A subscription model is just one possibility. Maybe Ubisoft store would give out a free game based one achievements you unlock in their games, maybe Activisions store would give you free DLC passes when you buy a game on launch day, maybe 2k's store will give you points towards a new game everytime you buy one"
It's still a possibility. As I've said before just look at EA pulling content from Steam and going their own way. By your logic if everyone ha...
No they'll just add value by giving you downloadable games. Like here in Canada where if you buy a PS4 you get The Last of Us DLC code bundled in.
Depends can I play Dragon Age Inquisition, Madden 2015, NHL 2015 the day it launches? If your answer is no and we're playing old games then nope not interested.
It's not like EA will undercut themselves like that, because honestly if they were going to allow me to play those new games, then why would anyone want to pay full price for their new games?
"What they don't want is you going to Gamestop 9 months to a 12 months later and buying used versions of their games which yield them 0 money. with EA access for $30 a year you basically are getting access to those 9 to 12 month old games. The difference is EA is making money instead of getting nothing. "
Why should EA get money back? I bought it and it's mine to do with as I wish, I can gift if and they don't get more money and they don't deserve a...
Exactly. I understand that on the surface it seems like a good value, but, as Ichizon and you have been mentioning, it's not all great overall. I just look over at EA and pulling their product from Steam for their own Origin and that control has allowed them to not have to offer any deals or incentives to preorder.
If Ubisoft, 2k Games, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Konami, Deep Silver, Microsoft all joined EA, I can only imagine that to have access to all the content I want I'...
Sony doesn't think it's a good deal and yes we get they have their own similar service, but, I don't think it's a great deal. Hypocritical or not the truth may be bad for consumers in the end. Hypocrisy doesn't make it any less true.
The fracturing of EA from storefront is not good for consumers and it is a valid comment regardless of whether you think their is bias or not. You think it's a good deal to pay for access to some discounts and playing o...
"The same way the mall owner gets a cut from allowing you to do business in their mall. It still doesn't change the fact that having multiple stores in the mall makes the mall a great place to shop. "
What?! This is ONE publisher not a mall of them. Steam would be more like the mall your referring to where I show up and their are multiple publishers and crazy summer and fall sales on all of the products. Do you have to pay $$$ for access to Steam? Nope. Now ...
You seem to think Sony and MS online stores were some kind of monopoly holding EA back? Sorry that would be the case if EA didn't have control of their product pricing which is NOT the case.
You are so misinformed it's not even funny. You seriously think this will benefit customers and will drive up competition? It's the exact opposite of that.
Just go look on Steam which is a unified store that has multiple publishers and according to your log...
Wait how does EA access compare to Netflix? Netflix has content from multiple major movie studios, exclusive content, far more value and available on all platforms. EA is a single publisher focus with limited offerings on a yearly basis and available on a single platform only to gold members of Xbone with 4+ million people. So how is that anything like Netflix?!
What?! EA nickel and diming people is not a good thing. This article mentions netflix which offers a wide variety of shows and movies from many studios with exclusive content and available across ALL platforms and customers. How does EA with it's yearly games and only a single publisher even comparable?!
Is it available to all EA customers? No
Is it on all platforms where EA games are available? No.
It's nothing close to netflix, blinkbox ...
The 'truth' as we know it is from a skewed point of view with bias. No one yet knows the full details enough to justify either point. Basing an argument on very limited info of the inside dealings and very far reaching implications during a beta is misinformed based on lack of information and idiotic. Your reaching to make your conclusion based on a beta.
If a year from the service began and every major studio started their own access program and things got fragmen...
You seem to think Sony isn't getting criticized?! Lol. Just look at these links. And your proof is beta pricing in testing phases and aren't representative of final prices. They're trying to figure out the pricing.

Your avatar is from Swordart Online and there's a game for that coming this fall. As a Swordart fan aren't you excited? I am a fan of DxD as well and would play it.
