Destiny was free for Xbone and didn't move units, which is the biggest IP this year and you think Forza is going to unleash sales? Especially when Titanfall barely registered?
"Financial clout" didn't help last generation so what makes this generation different?! If clout = sales then shouldn't MS be winning every generation? It didn't help them sell the Zune or sell Surface tablets either. It isn't going to make Xbone popular across Europe or all the markets they're losing in right now either.
How did I forget to mention that at 10.8 million (probably 11+ million) hasn't Sony just broke the topselling PS2 record of 10.6 million?! Congratulations to Sony for breaking year 1 record sales!!! Even a 3rd party deal bumped up sales, next year is hard to imagine and this year isn't done yet.
Destiny was actually one of 3 free game choices during it's launch. Microsoft was basically buying units effectively selling a Xbone and artificially bumping up Destiny Xbone sales. Still counts as a sale even if it is $0. Not sure about overall sales, but, imagine how bad Xbone sales would have been if they didn't offer 2 free games?! My store alone sold close to 80 PS4's versus 12 Xbones. Our Destiny PS4 bundle preorders alone were more than our Xbone launch week numbers.
There are only 5 Xbone items in the top 100 on amazon Japan. Destiny bundle is also higher than both of those Xbone sku's. Literally 95% of the top 100 are Sony and Nintendo products. Only days away and 5 products in top 100 isn't exactly amazing.

My store has as many preorders for the Destiny bundle as the Xbone day 1 edition last year. Our numbers are going to be insane come next tuesday midnight launch. In fact PS4 in general right now is selling ridiculously. Neither our EB Games, Best Buy, Futureshops or any store in my area can keep TLOU bundles in stock.
Exactly! The Wii U still has Mario Party, Bayoneta 2 and Smash on the way. They're going to keep chugging along.

Identical? So you've played both Xbox One and PS4 versions? Otherwise that'd baseless assumption. PS4 has had better running versions of EVERY 3RD party games.
They also have more retail and indie exclusives and games in general.
It also doesn't account for PS4 bundles which should be quite substantial.
Also day 1 stores like mine will have more than double stock on PS4. Our Madden launch for example had double stock for PS4 and even lower last gen numbers

Titanfall did next to nothing. The COD and SSO bundles have already dropped on the charts at amazon.com so not sure how it'll help, but, I'm guessing with Destiny bundles and being the most preordered game of all time along with the vast majority on PS4 I'd like to see if those 2 titles you suggest help any.

What?! MS barely announced anything new and it was a rehash of E3 almost completely. If they suffered the same problems then they would have to actually announce a list of new IP's first. PS4 announced a couple dozen new IP's and them saying they cut some announcements makes sense, because MS announcing next to nothing isn't a hard to follow act now is it? There's no point in showing...

Looking forward to Mordor, The Evil Within, Destiny, Far Cry, Natural Doctrine, Tales of Xillia 2, AC Unity, LBP 3, Plants Vs. Zombie 2 Garden Warfare, DC and so many more I can't remember.
He didn't clarify the first time he was asked about exclusivity and only responded the following day because the situation was snowballing into uncontrollable rage from fans. If he didn't clarify it was going to head back to bad E3 territory and just be a lot of bad publicity and more backlash against MS
The year isn't done and with Destiny bundle on the way they're numbers are going to explode.
Just like the cloud running on a high end PC? Yeah cause Scalebound, Phantom Dust, and even Tomb Raider haven't shown gameplay so makes sense you commenting in Tomb Raider threads with NO complaints about gameplay not being shown, but, you're critical of Bloodbound.
