They didn't lock out Xbone with those games. Warner bros didn't see any chance of making back their localization cost with the pathetic system sales in Japan, there was/ is literally no market for those products. So they did what any sensible company would and canceled the releases that we're going to lose them money.
Raiden 4 was an Xbox 360 exclusive too till they released Raiden 4 Overkill on PS3. I would bet this doesn't stay exclusive long either.

@Yetter
We keep on hearing how game X will change things except that what games have been well supported by the Xbone fan base? It's funny that your opinion is supposed to be fact somehow. There are plenty of great games on PS4. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean a thing. In fact I hear more about UI updates, backward compatibility then the actual exclusives which apparently no one on Xbone appreciates. Too bad SSO, Tomb Raider etc. Don't get g...
@Castillo
I didn't say Quantum Break would walk away. I mean Sony can do something similar. Kojima and Del Toro being friends and wanting to work on that Horror game project which used to be Silent Hill could just make their own horror game and with Sony TV make that into a tv series. Del Toro with Hogan wrote Strain novels which is now a TV show as well.
@Wall street I know about Defiance as I sold the game. I didn't say anywhere that it was a fi...
If that Quantum Break tv/game experiment works I think it would be great to have that horror game with Del Toro/Kojima and then have Del Toro direct a TV show for Sony TV.
Serverbot got served.
How is Star Ocean not on this list even though they have Neptunia, Atelier and Digimon listed? It's definitely a weird list. It also is missing a bunch that TomatoDragon kindly listed as well.
Bloodborne at 2 million sales has outsold every Xbone exclusive (all the Forza, Tomb Raider, Dead Rising, Ryse, Sunset Overdrive etc.) with the exception of Halo 5. So yeah Tomb Raider low sales after Sunset Overdrive and Forza as well.
Sony also said they're having a record digital sales as well though.

I work in a game store and have for quite awhile. 3rd party games do play a part, but, when you combine 3rd party support, 1st party titles you can't get anywhere else and friends playing on the same system it culminates into sales. Every little thing matters. Like my NBA example, everything you do in the game matters, you might not know how much till after the 4th quarter.
Niche games have a market too. Tomb Raider is selling like a niche game with it's AAA budge...
You do realize games like, Until Dawn, Tearaway, Bloodborne, MLB also sell systems during the holidays right? I have customers buying the system and these as gifts. When parents/grandparents etc come in to and say I am buying for my kids/grandkids which system has these they only know what the people they're buying for want or excited to now own.
Releasing games only during the holidays doesn't give your exclusives any room to have for it's own before getting tr...
Xbox had Fallout 4, Halo 5 and RoTT bundles as well so it's not like they didn't have their own bundles to counter.
@thekhurg
Have you looked at the art? If that's your idea of perversion I have to wonder. It's pretty tame. Maybe we looked at different art.
It's not like Xbox now has bluray, built in WiFi, hard drive, Games with Gold or anything because of Sony right? Oh wait.
Interesting. Where I'm at till December 17th (2 week promo) if you buy Tomb Raider or Halo 5 you get Rare Replay for free. It's the first time I remember a AAA title got gifted a free game like this.

Sony confirmed over 2 million at TGS in September.
Cuphead, Ashen, Tacoma and Below are all indie games as well, so how are you excluding PS4 Indies?
Also how is season 3 of killer instinct even on the list? Guess we should count the SF V season pass as another game? Lol.
There's always going to be outliers in every situation. The point is they develop the technology so that the majority can experience it without major adverse affects. Just like 3D movies some handful of people I know get headaches watching them in the theatre.
Doctors are still liable for their mistakes so they do use whatever is at hand to make an informed decision.
I highly doubt Sony, Oculus would be spending hundreds of millions in development cos...
Docters also have blood work, MRI's and lots of data to support their decisions though. They are using factual data and years of experience to make an informed decision. Whereas this person is using outdated information with no personal experience. Would you write a review of a Rollercoaster ride without having experienced it yourself? Probably not.
The quote was a fact and it was the specific reason Phil Spencer signed that deal. It's not misconstrued or anything. Seems if anything you don't have an idea what you're even talking about.
