Sorry, multimedia may be. But the most important aspect of a GAME console is the games. If you bring the best game experiences then multimedia then sure. Let's look at this objectively, krib, you have no idea how many units were previously or currently sold, so playing percentages is idiotic. 1000% increase if you sold 10 units the week before whereas 300% increase on 2000 units for example is more impressive even if the percentage is lower.

The main avantage of this type of collectors is it increases the chance to sell to a customer. For example if someone normally comes in and ask for a specific system version of the game the packaging be non-descript allows you to just pack which ever version whether it be PC, PS4 or XB1 and just sell it. Where as if it is packed spefically you may lose the sale.

I am pretty sure they are doing this to save on packaging. So instead of getting Xbox One packaging and PS4 packaging they send the limited stuff like this and sell you the corresponding system game.
It was done with Dragon Age Inquisition. Recently it was done this way for Battlefield 1 and will be done by Ubisoft for South Park as well.

Loved every game! Great set pieces, stories and cool weapons too. Really would love a remaster! I would play through multiplayer coop on 2 again to start.
