but i'm pretty sure that pic is sam fisher.
"The bad guy won at the end by clocking the lovable underdog in the crotch with a baseball bat."
great line.....
i'd like to see some 8 on 8 or 6 on 6 as well, but for them to also keep the 4 on 4. i loved the smaller teams as each guy needed to do their jobs and teamwork is more amplified in small teams, i think.
i do agree that having a bigger garden and a larger limit of pinatas would have made the game better. i found myself wanting to make a massive garden with many different areas taylored to different species, but it doesn't really work on that grand of a scale unfortunately. but the fun i had with the area they gave us was enough to love the game. i was hoping they'd make a bigger and better sequel because i'm sure they learned alot from the feedback on the first, but unfortunately, we got a...
add on that amazon is selling most hd-dvd's for about 15 bucks each right now and you could almost make a case for buying one. almost.
this is one i disagree with you on. i absolutely loved this game after i picked it up for $20 bucks or something. for some reason i completely got into it, found it completely addictive, and became almost attached to some specific pinatas. i had a ton of fun with this one.
agreed. i've held off on buying a second controller because i want the dualshock. even beyond the rumble, i'm really really looking forward to the added weight it will have.
i think you played it more as a game then an experience, which is what it was for me. it was easily my personal favourite game of last year and it's one i'll playthrough every few months probably for a long, long time. but hey, to each their own.
agree with your review. the game is absolutely gorgeous, no doubt about it. personally, i just didn't find it all that fun. i did enjoy the platforming portions, but then felt like the gun fights just held things up. it's a good game, but beyond the visuals i didn't think it was all that memorable.
ninja gaiden 2 released June 3 in north america. in my books, that's pretty damn good stuff.
i would agree if only for the fact that you can now have dvd's that can be up-converted to 1080p. it's not true 1080p, but few people actually can tell what that is. i know my dvds look great on the ps3, and when i can get used dvds for 6.99 and up-scale to 1080p, i'm going to do that for a while before i spend 35.99 on a new blu-ray disc. i have a couple blu-rays, all of which were bought for under $20. i won't spend almost 40 bucks on a true 1080p experience just yet.
next week
very interested to see how this game is received. i really do hope it's good as i have some optimism for it, but i have no doubt that it could fail to impress.
it's dumb for these companies to announce that they are going to announce something secret. 99% of the time it doesn't live up to the expectations, and it doesn't gain any notariety telling people that you are going to announce something. so in the end they set themselves up for ridicule and skepticism without having much if anything to gain. if they kept their mouth shut and then announced it, it would still be something new to tell people.
agreed
yep, we're a bunch of freakin rebels up here.
"Another bold prediction: Within 10 years, guilds formed on "War of Warcraft" or other online games will become offline political forces. Especially in Asia, look for these groups to start agitating for social change."
war of warcraft. i love these articles.
i definitely think that sony deserves credit for how they've basically made blu-ray the next gen media format. unfortunately, i don't think they are going to see alot of benefit from that for awhile. while BR is gaining, it still gets trounced by dvd. that's not going to end for a while, probably by the time the next generation of consoles comes around and all are utilizing blu-ray. just my opinion though.
well, with a 40 gb drive and 5 gb games (even though really there's only been two, lets assume with no actual evidence that following games are the same for the point of the example) then i'm going to say........hmmmmmm.......
8 games is how long. see how i did that?
exactly what i was thinking.....
lots of companies stop producing their most successful products at the top of their profitability. /sarcasm. hell, sonic hasn't been good for years, and we've still had what? 3 new sonic games in the last year?
