DS is in my top 5 games this generation, 2 was ok but Titan just wasn't scary. After seeing some of the DS3 videos and hearing the direction they took, I don't even think I will play it. As soon as they decided we all needed RE5 in space, they weren't getting my money. Two of my favourite franchises ruined, all for greed.
So much quality in that clip and they didn't even scratch the surface of the stable of franchises Sony own. Sony know entertainment.

MS is scared. I always knew that Sony would have the jump on MS this gen purely based around the fact that MS needs to license bluray for the new system. Sony should deny them the license, maybe they have.....
No competition. DS1 is better than all the RE games combined, and I am a RE fan. That is unless you like cheesy Japanese stories and bad acting.
I have an ipad, love it but never play games on it.

Patch or no patch, Skyrim is the best interactive entertainment production of all time. I am lucky and have never had any issues with my ps3 version.
What a game though, I am about 70hrs in and it is still revealing layer after layer of complexity.
Well Capcom, after consulting with my team we have decided to not buy your game.
Capcom have spat in the face of Playstation users this gen and look how it turned out for them. Same with Square, talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
Great review for brilliant game. Was my GOTY before I played Skyrim.
The only other Elder Scrolls game I have played was Oblivion and didn't really get into it. Skyrim on the other hand has got me hook, line and sinker.
I will be honest though, it will take you 15 hours or so before you get an understanding of the skill set, alchemy, smithing etc.. It is a daunting game on so many levels, but when you process everything that is going on it is amazing. GOTY easily.
Well when the baby wakes you up at odd hours and you cant get back to sleep, that is when you can get stuck into the game. You get the best of both worlds, minus the feeling refreshed in the morning bit.
Enjoy the baby, they are more interesting than any game.
To give you something to reference my tastes, my favourite games this gen have been Dead Space and Bioshock. I couldnt get into oblivion, thought mass effect 1 and 2 were 8.5/10 or thereabouts and traded fallout after a few hours. And my favourite game of all time is OOT (for its legacy rather than how it plays now)

I am loving Skyrim but it is not on the same level as Portal 2, IMO that is the best game this year and maybe the best of all time.
MS arent that stupid. I always thought Kinect was a simple way to give the 360 some extra legs while the new hardware was finalised. An expensive plug to stop the leak.
Watch them drop the 360 and the community like a hot potato as soon as the new system goes live.
Uh oh! Sounding more like Nintendo's Wii PR more and more each day. If MS go all casual this gen they are going to be left behind. It may mean quick bucks but it ruins your legacy.
