Same here. Better to be surprised due to sensible anticipation than disappointed due to overhype. Always happens to me, movies, games, music etc. Then when I go back to it later, I always enjoy it more.

Exactly what cpayne said. Great game, great graphics, some slowdown etc.. Definitely worth a play through, but not as good as the 1st.

Best 3d platformer ever made. Took what made Super Mario 64 so good and perfected it. Nothing has come close since, that includes Galaxy 1 + 2 and 3D world.

I saw this coming years ago. As soon as I saw MS entering the console business I knew it could only end badly. Kinect cant be removed. The only choice they have is to drop the price and take a hit. MS have spent 100s of millions developing games that are going to use Kinect so to take it out that would be money down the drain.
This should be a warning sign for any gamer, MS know people don't want the kinect but are refusing to remove it because there is going to be a lot of shovelware for the xbox. The wii of this generation.

I am sick and tired of third party exclusivity. I buy a console for first party exclusives and expect third parties to be neutral. When a 3rd party company decide to alienate a big section of the gaming population it is not something I forgive easily. Activision did it to PS last gen and EA are doing it this time. Bad move from both because I will think three times before buying their games now. Would prefer to look after the people who look after us.
