Not really. Despite the fact that any retailer you walk into will tell you that you won't see a ps4 until February and that they have enough Xbox,s to build a stadium, Australia is very similar to the US as consumers here believe the BS.
Store employees are pretty bad here too and are major fanboys. Probably because MS give better gifts.
Bought a WiiU at Costco in Australia and returned it after a week. Mario 3d is undeniably good but It is not worth AU$450, especially since I have already played and beaten the Wind Waker and Pikmin. For $100 more I can have a ps4 and $150 for an Xbox.
When it is $250 max with a game I might buy it again.
Dead Space for number 1 or maybe Bioshock.

Here in Australia you can pick one up any day you want. The guy in my local ebgames (Aussie GameStop) told me that Sony had deliberately created the shortage to ramp up demand but MS had created enough to keep everyone stocked. I told him that I wouldn't call 2.5 million units sold in 2 weeks a deliberate shortage.
Can't decide whether Portal 2, Bioshock or Dead Space was my number 1 game this gen. All 10s.
MS treat their customers with contempt. The way they go about advertising their products and the under handed tactics they use are the reason I would never buy any of their products. Xbox1 stands here in Australia are emblazoned with "the best games", "the most games" etc. which is just a down right lie, but the mindless zombies just lap it up.

I agree, but I think it is mostly due to R* ensuring all stores have stock. They would be pushing their logistics people to have everyone stocked by Monday. Imagine if one retailer got theirs 3 days earlier and sold them all, the guy down the road would miss out on sales. It would also allow people to profiteer.
Still pisses me off though. lol
So true, It's the same here in Australia. We always seem to be apologising to everyone for being successful as a nation. Has anyone actually seen how bad piracy is in the Middle East? No wonder no one wants to support that region.
@ihassounah America propped up Mubarak for years, installed the Shah, funded the mujahideen against the Russians, backs Isreal to the hilt etc so they are not innocent. But I am sick of the victim mentality and that is the point I was trying to make.
We are all evolved humans and it is about time people in that part of the world took the future into their own hands. And that is not the same as some religious revolution like what is occurring at the moment.

What a joke. I have owned or played all those consoles and the PS3 should never be 7th. These clowns just go "how do we get the most hits?, put the ps3 low on the list"
Pathetic really. I am 38 years old and have owned everything from Commodore 16, Amiga 500, all the Ataris, all the Nintendos and reckon ps3 is the best system I have ever owned. N64 had some of the best games ever, but there just weren't enough.

Good review, however I disagree with you on the endings, I liked the one I got (saved all the little sisters) One of my top 5 games this generation.

Bloody brilliant game. EA could have kept that franchise going for years for people like us, but they had to be greedy and f'd it up.

My favourite character was Joel, super intense and deep, but David was fantastic. I actually called my wife to show her the scene where David tells Ellie that he knows she was with Joel when they killed his men, gaming really has come of age this generation. Just finished the game today. Surpassed ZOOT as my favourite game of all time.
