Agreed. I suspect it may have something to do with Bungie aligning with Sony.This is an amazing game and deserves much better scores than it is receiving. This game is the last nail in the coffin of gaming journalism, they are now totally irrelevant.

Relax guys. What I mean is that to me, San Andreas is the best realised world I have experienced in gaming. It was alive and I don't think any developer has matched that. That game is more than the sum of it parts.

I agree with you 100%. GTAV is the pinnacle of game making and encompasses everything we had hoped to see in games for 35 years. I have been playing for that long and no other world is as impressive as San Andreas. Hyrule in OOT was excellent for its time, but R* have raised the bar big time.
MS did a great job. All they talked about was games, and that is what it's all about. We are all in for a treat in the next 12 months.
For the record I have never and probably never will own an Xbox console.
It was an excellent e3 from all involved. This was about games and everyone delivered. MS has some nice exclusives, so does Sony, and the multiplats look excellent. For the record, I am a Sony person but you have to acknowledge that MS appear to be listening to their fans.
Neither console came out and said 'buy me for this game'. All the games shown by both are pretty much multi platform, but damn alot of them looked excellent.
MS will have more to lie about at this E3, that is certain. This company will pull any trick in the book to fool their fans and I expect this E3 to be their best yet. Lots of cloud talk, Gears of War, Halo, Forza, some big name (costly) timed exclusivity, cheaper SKU (bigger loss making) and lastly lots of "footage" of games due in 2015 lol.

Shame this is not going to make it to PS4. I always bought the Insomniac games, they are really fun. Resistance 3 was great.
I think your gaming tastes has a huge bearing on how I interpret your score. Judging by what you proposed I can see that you have a pretty broad range of interests and it proves that you are not biased or narrow minded.
Well written review and an interesting take on the game. Personally the Uncharted games have never set the world on fire for me. They are entertaining though and would probably sit around an 8 for me. #2 closer to a 9.
I actually looked for some of the previous reviews and couldn't find any, wanted to see if that was the case.
Spin it anyway you want, but Uncharted is not a 6.5/10 game. Yes the action is a bit tedious at times and the story isn't going to win any awards, but in terms of an overall package it deserves higher than 6.5.
Please tell me your 3 favourite games in the last 5 years so I can get a taste for where you are coming from.
