Third parties were definitely the winners here. And this E3 was better than when they scaled it all back and made it, well, suck.
Not that any company had a particularly jaw-dropping showing this year. Nothing as good as Sony and Nintendo last year.
That or $$$.
I love Mass Effect but this one smells like a cash in. Even if the voice controls *are* slightly intriguing. Should work with headsets too though.
Her favorite is Majora's Mask? Huh, mine too. Not many of us out there.
My thoughts exactly. Hudson is out of business too so I wonder if this is being made in-house?
"BF3 – Free BF game as a PS3 exclusive"
Really? They are packing in 1943 which has been on the Xbox for a year now. Nothing exclusive at all.
For me, the conference gets a solid B-. The Vita's lineup was all-in-all pretty good. Sly 4 was a welcome surprise, even if after beating the collection it was expected. The Vita has a solid price tag as well, I will likely pick it up especially if Deviants turns out well. But there was not a single ...
My opinion:
10. LoZ 25th anniversary seems a lock. That would not surprising.
9. Too early for Xbox 3. Not happening.
8. Molyneux has stated he wants to make Fable a yearly release. That may happen.
7. Halo is a given, it has released almost every year since 3.
6. That Mass3 Kinect picture spotted on EA's Store is saddening but almost guaranteed to be real. *sigh*
5. There won't be a ZoE3. Kojima would've announce...
I'm fairly sure this is going to be part of the main game. I'll be more than happy to play Catwoman, from the trailer she seems to be a faster, lighter combat style rather than like Batman's. I'm thinking it'll be a contrast similar to how the Action "Hack and Slash" is divided, from God of War's heavy and precise combat to Bayonetta's quick and furious combat.
Maybe not as radically different, but that's what I feel like they are g...

The original render for his face might not have been complete, when they showed the trailer at the VGAs. They may have made him disfigured later.
So awesome. This game is going to be fantastic.
Found this one through the cameo in Super Meat Boy. I haven't played it, but I have it!
Once you get halfway through the second case on the Arson desk the game picks up. I was getting really, really bored leading up to that but it finally decided to grab my interest again.
As for that final part of your post... well, keep playing.
The difference is Crapcom is charging $5 for one character, and $1 for a friggin' CPU battle (MvC3). There's also the pointless suits for Dead Rising among offenders. Scamco is equally as bad, Katamari packs were $4-5 dollars each at launch (It was about $50 for all of them), Vesperia has gold and items you can buy for a small advantage, and DV/Yoda were $5 each for Soul Calibur.
This, by comparison, is a bargain. $10 for 4 cases and the suits? I'm in. The Na...

I was talking about the movie projects. Verbinski left Bioshock and Sam Reimi is doing Oz instead of WoW. Both film adaptations are not in production as of right now, though they were announced 2-3 years back.
With the way none of these video game franchises seem to be taking off, I wouldn't be surprised if this one isn't made for quite some time. Look at Bioshock for the best example, or Warcraft. Both were set to be pretty amazing but now they are comatose.
So freakin tired of companies announcing announcements. Even worse is a countdown to when a company is announcing something.
Just announce it for God's sake. Stop with the teases.
Modern Warfare always touted it's series as a "gritty, realistic version of modern-future warfare." So, if they are being realistic, why aren't environments destructible?
I'm most definitely picking up Battlefield 3 this fall, I'm not sold on MW3 yet though. I will say that I've come to realize that people might be overboard on the COD hate, as it's less milked than other franchises such as Madden or Need for Speed. Only difference is th...
How is IX so low? What an insult. Of all the PS1 Final Fantasies it's the only one that still holds up today, 7 and 8 aren't easy on the eyes and the translation in 7 is sub-par at best. 2 and 3 should be the bottom, they are almost universally considered the worst of the bunch.
My order:
1. 10
2. 9
3. 8
4. 6
5. 4
6. 7
7. 5
8. 1
9. 3
10. 2
I wasn't huge with PS2 gaming, except for JRPGs and second-party Sony exclusives. I'd love to give you an all PS2 list, but my library is only about 50-60 games, none of which I recall being poorly rated.
So far as other consoles go, I can give you a scrapped together list:
Nier (360): 68
Kirby Air Ride (GCN): 61
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (XBLA): 67
Overlord (360): 76
Mischief Makers (N64): 72.9% (Gamerankings) ...
There was no way of knowing that it would be a terrible list until after clicking it, all it says (in better terms) is top 5 underrated PS2 games. So you can't exactly tell him not to read it, he had no idea how bad the list was.
As for my opinion, these are all very, very similar games that I have no interest in. If the creator did, that's perfectly fine - I don't care. I would have preferred to see some varying genres, but it doesn't matter, it's not ...
He meant Skyward Sword. How on earth did you miss that and throw a game that has zero known information about it? Actually, it has some info, but the game isn't even in-development yet! Sakurai himself stated that!
