These articles are ridiculous. Saints Row fans aren’t fans of terrible games. Gaming review sites need to stop being so gutless. If a game is bad then say it’s bad. Don’t bow to the small audience that loves every game.
Sony cannot obviously afford not to do this. Microsoft basically funds Xbox with foreign profits from sales of Windows and Office. Or do you think Xbox has made the $80B that Microsoft used to buy all those game publishers. Sony doesn’t have another business to fund PlayStation. Sony’s main business is PlayStation.
There is precedence for this kind of hate. Rise of the Tomb Raider suffered because of timed exclusivity on Xbox. It’s one thing to launch an exclusive on the minority system. It’s another to take a game away from a major platform. The PS5 user base as a whole will always be spiteful towards Bethesda, and that kind of bad will won’t help Starfield.

No. Xbox doesn’t have a large enough audience. Even in the glory days of the Xbox 360, they sold about 80M consoles. And now they have rival game subscription services to contend with.
Microsoft puts a ton of PR behind Game Pass. More than the gaming news media will ever admit.
Few are old enough to remember this game much less have played it. Jones in the Fast Lame is definitely a multiplayer game. We all crowded around my PC to play it. Great lesson about why you need a refrigerator.

Dude, PS+ has already caught up. The lowest tier of PS+ is only $5/month (less with deals) and consistently outclassed Games with Gold. The Extra tier has some of the best games ever made such as Ghost of Tsushima and started with day 1 releases of gems like Stray. Loving it.
I think the idea is that you need a PC anyway, so the cost of the video card is the cost to make your PC a gaming PC. You can buy a MacBook and a $400 PS5 digital or you can buy a PC box and a $400 graphics card. That’s how PC graphics makers think are staying competitive with console.
