Ive been looking at the specs while the processor and RAM are pretty good the video card is pretty crappy, basically a low end DX10 integrated card
so depending on the final sys requirements of SC2 its a maybe on low settings (or at least low res and shadows)
Vader the ONLY explanation for you "6 months upgrade" thing is if you bought cheap low end garbage which doesn't really put you in the "avid pc gamer" category...

What MS should do more for Vista is release more of those "Compatibility, reliability and performance" updates that seem to be doing wonders since the launch of the OS to the point that now compared to launch the OS actually works
I think SP1 should have been a huge version/doze of those patches, hopefully MS can release a new version of the SP1 with all the pros and not the cons

exactly why I haven't updated my Vista to SP1 after the first testers said that it might not be all fun and games with SP1
I have actually had less BSOD after several of MS Vista "performance and reliability" updates
but the thing is that I still have them -_-
maybe they will go away after several more of those updates?
cuz Vista has come a LONG way from launch thanks to the massive amount of patches and hopefully a massive amount later the OS could be great
