If Sledgehammer is doing the campaign without significant input from Infinity Ward then it'll be a hard pass from me
Yes, it's very weird how some here get caught up in non-existent drama that really doesn't matter
Based opinion, I hope the recent Subsistence camera mod will work with the Steam version of MGS2.
Curious how MGS1 will compare to the GOG version, and how they'll handle Psycho Mantis but not interested enough to play it.
For MGS3 I'll prioritise the remake.
There's really no demand for an FF8 remake - there next rumoured remake is FF9
It seems pretty great so far. I’m not far in but even just getting to the Wind Temple felt more memorable than anything from the last three Zelda games
Turn based combat was never the main attraction of FF for me. I won’t miss it any more than I miss random battles (which I don’t miss at all)
Circana?
People ‘disagreeing’ because they disagree?
Concerning…looking into it
I’d like modern warfare 2 (2009) remastered on Steam thanks
Okay I've asked myself that. My answer is that power can and should translate to gameplay mechanics that make games more fun to play. After all, games are for playing, not looking at, right?
My current picks for most fun on PS5: Elden Ring and Resident Evil 4
What about Most Fun?
I was balls deep into COD4/MW2 back in 2007-2010 but these days I'm exclusively about single player. For me the years of peak Infinity Ward were lightning in a bottle, but it's over. Now I'd rather play games that end. FromSoft games still do it for me on a neurochemical level
I recall the remaster of IV got cancelled in order to prioritise VI and fixing the trilogy. But I'm assuming this is as good as the 'definitive' trilogy will get through official support - I wonder how much more could be done by the mod community. The original III and VC have reverse engineered ports which are probably the best current way to play them.
are they still patching it?
IV was my least favourite, I had the least amount of fun while playing it compared to all others
if we're being charitable, we can note that it's a remake of a game that was designed around not being able to walk while aiming, so perhaps this was an effort at balancing and maintaining tension
VI and X are my favourite FF games but their turn based combat has very little to do with that. Much like random battles I had to tolerate, I'm don't mind if I never play another turn based game.

How about let's not be overanalysing a plotline that could practically pass for a 90's porn film. Just have fun shooting ganado's
CoD should have always been an Infinity Ward franchise. It's not supposed to be a thing where a developer creates a game then the publisher just lets other random developers also make games under the same title
