ND has allegedly been trying to address crunch culture, which may go some way to explaining the slower pace, and that would be a good thing.
I'm personally no longer in a rush for any game anymore as there are already more good games in existence than I'll ever have time for, plus I'm less interested in 'movie games' than I used to be.
Glad you are having fun rather than making it your life's mission to remind everyone that it actually still isn't what was 'promised' before launch
The Trials remake felt like it was made specifically for me but i was glad to see it was relatively well received, even if a lot of them were coomers
yeah i haven't been really into FF since 10, and didn't play 11, 12, 14, or 16. Had a surprisingly decent time with XV as I liked the theme of journeying with friends, but it was a bit of a mess overall. 7 remake has been pretty fun though.
Wasn't for me - the trailers looked cool and some of the ingredients were there, but too much of the traditional FF feel was missing.
Shadow of the Erdtree, Visions of Mana, Rebirth, MGS3, maybe Dragon's Dogma
I loved TSOT though it's a decade old so I wouldn't call it 'recent'
If this gets applied to the Steam/console version then I’ll consider getting it
I’m huffing a lot of hopium for this game
^ didn't realise CEO's posted on here
This is old paradigm thinking - generational leaps aren't ever going to be like they used to be, and waiting for features that we can already see implemented on PC is not worth it just to be more "excited" later.
We're starting to see 30fps games creeping back in so if a hardware refresh allows us to brute force our way out of that, then good.
Alternatively, more power for ray tracing would be good too.
That will be the key indicator or whether the Pro will be justifiable for me. If it makes GTA6 materially better to play then I'll be up for it
This was the highlight of TGA for me
Too much shimmying through tight spaces
the many narrative inconsistencies between BotW and TotK indicate that Nintendo has little interest in timeframe continuity
If the easy extra revenue is keeping people employed and combating crunch culture, then it's fine. I have no idea if that's the actual outcome though.
I had more fun with 2 than with 3
Agreed, though it led to some rewarding moments when you have no choice but to squeeze every bit of strategic perfection out of the battle system
As long as it doesn't lead to a more ridiculous trophy than 'dressed to the nines'
Just as I think of The Simpsons as a 90's TV show even though it's technically still going, I'll probably always think of COD as a 2003-2010 franchise.
