I don't understand all the hate 3D gets on this site. It's an option, why can't people let those that enjoy the immersive experience have their fun? It's not like 2D will just disappear and even in the ridiculous chance that all content becomes 3d only, the TVs have the option to easily convert it to 2D.
My biggest gripe with 3D is the content exclusivity rights with TV manufacturers. It's a terrible trend to set, I had to download Avatar in 3D because ...
I don't know exactly but it took me a while to platinum Arkham Asylum. Took me almost as long as the main campaign to do those difficult challenge mode trophies! That reminds me I need to get some kind of protective rubber case for my DS3 before Arkham City comes out.
Does this mean another 30 second live action trailer with absolutely no game details?
Edit: Timesplitters 4 would be very nice though, even if it is just an announcement.
Holy crap I've traveled back to 2009! Knew I shouldn't have went over 88mph on the way home.
edit:
from the article...
"when I played the single player campaign, I got so bored I set the difficulty higher for the purpose of being entertained. Big mistake. Turns out, one hereditary trait of European-developed games is that, if you ask for a harder game -- you get one."
WaaaaAH!! too hardz!!
I think he's right, too many journalists just copy and paste any PR they are spoon fed. Devs know what makes headlines, they want their game in the spotlight and if that means saying something like "our game will look best on X console" or "we have maxed out the X system" then of course they will.
Journalists need to recognize they are being manipulated and just report the facts and truthful opinions instead of all this he-said-she-said bullpoop.
Nice read, I haven't put much thought into the NGP yet, the back touch pad is very interesting though. They fixed the one complaint I had about the PSP, which was the lonely analogue stick.
I dunno if its just the bad translation but this article comes off a little immature. However there's a good point, Kinect needs core titles before it will be truly accepted by gamers. I know I for one am still waiting for a title to give me a reason to purchase Kinect.
I have a disturbing feeling that Microsoft might go the way of the Wii and create a slightly more powerful Xbox 360 at a really affordable price, bundle Kinect and sell it to the casuals. Especially since Kinect has proven popular in sales...

I hope not as there's a few IPs on the Xbox I'd like to see with true ...
Hey, thanks :) I agree, there are some great people here. I was just poking some fun around, the FACT remains that N4G is a great place to get gaming info and occasionally meet some interesting people who share your hobby. All the tools are here to make this a much better experience, it's just a shame they are abused by multiple account trolls.
Now if only the mods/designers/whatever would bring back the open zone, like everybody wants, we'd be one step closer to ga...
How is the story of a bunch of journalists forgetting to press the grab button worthy of an article? I wish I could unread some things.
I don't care how much they dress it up, these 'press kits' are nothing short of bold faced bribery.
Now, ms/Sony/EA/Activision, send me something and I may reconsider my comment.
We live in an age where you can sue an electronics company because their sat-nav told you to drive into a lake. These tit-for-tat lawsuits between companies no longer shock me.
p.s don't feed the troll.
Me too, Mechamorte and Kitteh :)
Can't wait for Starhawk!
Don't both PS3 Gran Turismo games have LAN?
I used to have a real blast playing Warhawk over LAN, its still my favourite multiplayer experience so far this gen.
all deadzone: 0%
sensitivity: 20%
turn speed: 50%
has served me well so far.
There's a learning curve definitely, took me around 2-3 hours to become as proficient with Move as I am with the DS3 but it didn't stop there. After another hour or so I was becoming even better and, not only that, I was enjoying myself a lot more than I would have using a regular controller.
Move is really worth the effort, keep in mind nothing worth doing is easy.
Killzone 3 is my favourite use of motion controls outside of casual games. It's a breath of fresh air for a genre I'd become very tired of.
I've posted in a fair reviews of this game how much I like it so I'm not gonna repeat myself here. I am however going to say that after more than month of heavy use I'm still enjoying the challenge this game presents. Just recently picked up my full teir 1 armour set and first tier 2 piece. The raids are still quite challenging as not a lot of people have geared up enough yet. Anyway the bugs in DCUO have become an annoyance and I'd say the only thing stopping this game fro...
I downloaded the 3D trailer from the Playstation store and gotta say, it looks stunning. Was sat there pausing and freeze framing the quick bits to get a good look at the detail.
lol I have such an exciting life /s
