Wow, can't wait!
Is it true that you get a free Steam version if you buy the PS3 version? That would make my system choice for this game VERY easy :D
That is coming to PS3 also, so he could still play, provided he has Move.
Very funny guy but also very intelligent, he does seem to fit the portal 'world' very well. If anyone hasn't heard (or saw) the podcasts with Stephen, Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington, do yourself a favour and DL them now :D
I went the other way: from iOS to Android and I've never looked back. The freedom afforded to me on Android makes my old iPhone look like a prison cell.
As for gaming I do play a fair few games on mobile devices like this but it just doesn't compare to a dedicated games system. I'm just not satisfied with the limited gameplay a pad or mobile phone offers. There's only so much you can do with tapping and tilting, ad on-screen buttons are awful. In my opinio...
This is gonna look so trippy in 3d!
It will be interesting to see how this game plays out. To my knowledge it's the first game that is both Move AND Kinect enabled. Wonder which one will play better, I would like to try for myself but I don't own Kinect yet.
I'd just like to take a minute to appreciate the gameplay in the uncharted games. I just feel like they are overshadowed by the graphics sometimes.
It wasn't the graphics, however brilliant, that kept me going back to Drakes Fortune, it was the excellent cover system and fluid platforming action. Although it all seems a little rough around the edges when I look at how much Among Thieves improved pretty much every aspect.
Of course neither game is pe...
There's always someone trying to pin these emotional states onto faceless corporations. I know that it's harder to comprehend an entity that has many independent facets than to personify it into a single being but if I only had one bubble to voice my opinion, I'd try harder.
At least you're admitting that Sony are hitting their stride and aren't completely delusional like many others. Still your comment reeks of fanboyism and is more wishful thinking tha...
Maybe if they release the damn thing in Europe they might have a hope. Stop leaving us behind!
Portal has a large geek cult following. Combine that with new online features and voice acting from Stephen Merchant and I think there's no fear that it won't do well.
Here's hoping more genre defying games follow suit too :)
Portal has one massive flaw imo... it ended.
Couldn't be more hyped for the sequel.
Superman is too overpowered for his own game, at least on earth anyway.
"Press X to fire laser beams out of your a$$ and kill everything... you win"
Maybe if it was based on Apokolips or something?
Stick to Batman Rocksteady, he's way cooler anyway.
Thanks I knew there was a comic involved somewhere. The cut scenes are also very comic influenced.
Infamous is another good super hero game, although I'm not sure if it was initially based on a comic book or vise-versa. Both Batman: AC and InFamous 2 are among my top five most anticipated games this year.
Edit: Didn't they already confirm no multiplayer?
Most of these 'quick we haven't got much stock' articles are just PR bs, on both sides of the fanboy fence. However it seems like this site is far too keen to label the Move as a failure without giving it the same opportunity, that they seem to be allowing Kinect, to come up with good software. They also refer to motion controls as a platform of their own, which only seems to the case with Kinect.
Both need time to come into their own and with Sonys wealth of in ...
He claims on one hand to be neutral as he has a vested interest in the success of epic games on PS3 but in the other he openly bashes great PS3 franchises and hardware. It seems to me like he is just trolling with the intention of getting his name out there and more recognition for his upcoming games.
The sad thing is that it works, people take his comments personally and the trash articles shoot straight to the front page. I've always said trolls are like annoying chil...
Can't wait to throw cars at random civilians!
E3 is about 3 months away, if MS did have a new xbox in the works with enough info to give an official announcement we probably would have heard something about it already, something substantial anyway.
I don't see vague job listings and tech demos as proof of anything, however I'm not ruling out the possibility completely. I think people are still reeling from the recession and a new system announcement now would put more than a few at unease.
Perso...
DING DING DING!
We have a wiener.
I actually punched my screen.
If I was friends with someone called Richard Ham I'd HAVE to give them the nickname of Dick Meat lol.
There are a good number of sequels that I'm betting will deliver the goods this year, in no particular order:
Batman: Arkham City, if they manage to deliver all the new features AND improve endgame bosses, this could be a personal GOTY contender.
inFamous 2, level editor, many new powers, improved cinematic story.
Portal 2, Creating a full-fledged game from Portal was always going to be a challenge but Valve seem to have captured the spir...
