Well I never thought Xb One would have so many problems :/
If I recall, at the time I assumed they would be much closer in regards to power.
Anyway, I was right about a good few things in that blog, chief amongst them the price difference, which I nailed. Just because Kinect isn't the only thing holding back the Xb one doesn't mean my whole "blog is wrong".
Not professionally no, although I would love a job if there's one going :)
I guess I just seen all the signs in this case.

I love high texture details but hate too many jaggies, somewhere in between these two would have been better imo.
I hate to be 'that guy' but don't be too disappointed if they announce a delay.
Surely it's better to release the game working 100% then push it out for a deadline with issues, right?
I hope they put that money back into Destiny. If they truly want it to become the next COD (success-wise) they will have to invest heavily in content, servers and marketing.
Given it's multiplatform status, huge publisher support and excellent developer at the helm, I can see this IP becoming a titan in the indstry.
The reduction in jaggies has come at the cost of blurring the entire image slightly, is this blur going to be present on all games now?

Let's face it, you could bring out the greatest game in history and some people would never make the switch, either way.
Why does it have to be switch anyway? Why not get both if there are games that interest you on both platforms? Buy a Wii U and Vita while you're at it :)
As long as games like The Order: 1886 and Infamous: Second Son keep coming then no. There's still a prevalent place for single player experiences.
Nice long write up, I agree with the vast majority of it.
I admire the writers optimism but evidence suggests that Xb1 will never be able to achieve true parity with multi platform titles unless developers intentionally hold back the PS4 version. This is something that MS and their fans will have to come to terms with sooner or later. Hopefully it forces MS to invest more into their first party offerings.

Although I'd like to think that there would be plenty of Playstation fans mature enough to keep an open mind about the game when it does come across to the PS4. You're spot on about 3rd party exclusivity damaging an IP in the long run though.
