Infamous is one of the most underrated franchises of the last generation, imo. I hope the high PS4 sales lead to Second Son getting the sales, fanbase and recognition the series deserves.
100% agree. I don't mind good multiplayer every now and then but it shouldn't come at the expense of a great single player experience.
I believe there's room in the industry for both though.
Or maybe you're just passionate about games enough to want to invest into the industry that you love.

Fair enough, it's still a little misleading, kinda got the impression the article was trying to say MS got console exclusivity just because they were more open with their plans.

It was going to be timed exclusive, which is what famous is talking about here. That all changed later when EA and Microsoft mad a deal outside even the knowledge of Respawn themselves (which is worrying) to make the game completely exclusive (kind of).
