What people don't understand is that this is pretty much Black Friday... deals galore for us Canadians. It's basically getting rid of all the unsold stock of 2007. So I would guess that specific model isn't selling well with Futureshop, so they're selling it for an insanely low amount... and they will be gone fast. Same how Best Buy is selling most new games for $40 and older ones for $20... They need to get rid of it to make room for the new stuff coming in next year =)
I pers...
Ummm... since when is January to March 3 month? lol. In any case, I would believe it considering Ubisoft has done pretty close to no job in advertising this game.
Hmm... The first novel hyped me up for the game and this will probably do the same for the second game in the series, but I didn't think the first novel had all that great writing. It was good but nothing I'd be rushing out to buy. Still, glad to hear there will be another; I will make sure to read it.
I didn't notice any differences from that video... doesn't matter to me, I'm still gonna pick it up on the PS3 even if it's better or worse than the 360 version only because I have the previous 3 on the PS2 and it would feel weird having a set where you need two separate systems to play the (current) entire series. =)
It'd be nice... but I'm almost certain this is just a placeholder.
-_- yeah, because Square doesn't know how to create new characters, right? I agree, it doesn't look anything like Cloud nor is it his style to be using projectile weapons. Just because he has a bike and has blonde hair... makes him think it's Cloud? Lightning uses a gun that can transform into a blade... she is obviously a decedent of Squall (FFVIII). /sarcasm
... since when has Games Radar started to release such meaningless and unprofessional articles?
I may be in the dark on this but... what is Black Cloud?
What the... heck? I personally do not believe this only because... this is Microsoft who is publishing it... they'd do a much bigger job in establishing it into the market, not to mention Remedy has only made a couple games in the past... each game is important not to mention pricey; they can't blow it.
EDIT: After reading through the interview again... some of the wording feels off from what a PR would really say and overall doesn't sound real. Maybe someone wants hits?
I'll buy it when it hits $20 only because I really don't need another copy of the game, as much as I love it =)
Persona 3 > Mass Effect... Like I loved Mass Effect, but come on, P3 was so much longer and so much more addictive. Then again everyone is looking towards the "current-gen" so I'm not surprised. But the list is aboot what I expected.
Is it me or does Ken look very weird in the second picture? In any case... I'm liking what I'm seeing; it looks like they're going back to traditional fighting mixed in with a couple visual perks and gameplay upgrades.
Why oh why don't they just put a strip or something like the PS2 Greatest Hits banner instead of erasing most of the covers' artwork, making it look damn well ugly and empty... this is why I go to eBay instead of retail when there is a title that went Platinum. Now the Best Collection does this too? (or is that what it really looks like?) =( Does anyone actually like this style? Maybe I'm just picky but I don't like seeing those in my collection.
Anyways, did it sell all that w...
Wow... this is worse than the Splinter Cell: Essentials incident =P
13 hours? It sounds like he just rushed through the game and did like one side mission. I did a majority of the side quests and the main storyline and it took me 35 hours (and i didn't doddle). But I kinda agree with him on the Mako incident... I dunno how many times I've driven to my death because it goes forward when I hold back XD.
Is that how Drakengard ended?! I got like 3/4 the way through that game way back when it was released... thank goodness I didn't finish it XD but then again... those are two of the alternate endings... right? =P
I'm canceling my account later in December. It's not because of protest but because it doesn't seem like it has been worth it lately and now that both Jeff and Rich are gone, the site doesn't feel the same.
"The recently opened Eidos Montreal is working on more than Deus Ex 3. The studio is said to be breathing new life into the MASS EFFECT series, last seen in 2001 with the PSone release Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix."
... They mean Fear Effect, right? =P In any case, I hope a new Fear Effect were to come out. I was disappointed they canceled the PS2 game. Also, did Eidos buy Kronos Digital, the developers of the series? Or has Eidos always owned the rights to the game ena...
Hmmm... I can see this working well with the PS3 six axis and most especially with the wii controls. I love the movies, hopefully they do a good job with the game.
Bloodlines is actually one of my favorite games! It had such a fun dialogue interface... even though the battle system was a bit clumsy (especially hand-to-hand). But still, I loved the RPG elements and the whole adventure was a blast =) And no one played Condemned? I own it for PC and it is such a thriller... actually scared me a couple times.
