My wallet is crying. Killzone 2, Street Fighter IV, FEAR2, Star Ocean The Last Hope, GTA: The Lost and Damned [and maybe Onechanbara (v360)] are the games I'm picking up. Why is February the new November?
Yay! Toaru Majutsu no Index! But wow, that is some serious collection.
I think it's a pretty good price, as long as it lasts more than 4 hours... and I can see that happening easily. I know I've spent more for a lot less, so, to extend a game that I still enjoy playing is going to be worth every penny for me.
This better hit North America because I already put down my $90 for it.
I agree with the review entirely. I've played the game for about 10 hours now, and it is a really unique experience that, while is plagued with technical issues, has intense strategic battles and an enjoyable storyline.
Damn. There is an embargo.
I like this one: "Pandemic's rumoured sandbox-style Batman game has been cancelled due to reasons of rubbishness." A rumor that a rumored game has been cancelled =P
Well, Radiata can last maybe 40, and maybe the the third Star Ocean, but I know I beat Valkyrie Profile in 30 hours (and took my time), same with Star Ocean the second story which only lasted 25.
The complaint on too many characters and not enough information of them in the story is very valid, but if you look at previous tri-Ace games - Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean and Radiata Stories - it's very similar. Those games are also 20-30 hours. I loved their previous games, so it's a must for me, whether or not the critics enjoyed it.
Killzone 2, Bayonetta and Resident Evil 5 are 2009 titles. I thought UGO was up to date in the gaming industry.
I'm sorry, not to go off the issue or anything, but reading this article gives me a giant migraine. Does this author know how to write? There are run-on sentences all over the place, and some parts I had to read over just to make sense of it.
But yea, Remedy is one of those companies that take their time with their games to ensure that they come out with the best product they can have. I just hope it delivers.
The steelbook alone is worth my purchase :)
Maybe I just had high expectations for the quality, but the visuals are far from spectacular. I'm still going to have to buy it on blu-ray, but damn... voice acting (specially from Leon) is meh, and the visuals feel like they were pulled out of RECVX's CG cutscenes. But as most people are saying, it will most likely be better than the live-action movies.
Really? MGS2 is my favorite game of the series. and Chrono Cross is done right amazing. I agree with DMC2 though, but I think FFX-2 should be in there, too.
THANK YOU! I seriously dislike tin boxes... I absolutely love steelbook cases. Just for that, I'm getting it :)
You know, I could wait till x-mas and hope i get it for a present. Too bad I'm a big fan and I'm going to have to get it day one =P
I actually like Namco's strategy. Release a Tales game on each one of the three major home consoles. I can't wait to see what it will be.
I'm still rooting for a remake of the NES Metal Gear titles. I'd really rather have them start a new Metal Gear franchise rather than continuing tacking on a number at the end.
I dunno why they would consider tri-ace a "B-team"... they created some amazing and some of my favorite games (Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean Second Story, Radiata Stories). In any case, if tri-ace is with 360 and Square's internal development is with the PS3, I really don't mind. Even though I have both systems, I don't consider having tri-ace backing up the 360 a bad thing at all.
Keep refreshing. The site is in chaos (look at the front page haha) and because n4g and other communities are packing into the site, it is no wonder why the site is overloading.
