Congratulations? Why look nearly 2 years in the past than looking for newer game?
I'm sorry, but I'm not surprised at all. I would think if Sony offered to help publish it in Europe or North America, they'd take it... But I highly doubt that would happen considering it isn't that large of a game.
Although, I might import it when it goes down in price despite own the 360 version :)
Oh that's great. I just turned down an offer to go to Europe on Monday through the thirteenth, too! Oh well.
Being that Namco X Capcom was a complete failure in my opinion (was there even a story? The entire game felt like a giant random battle with brand new characters you battle as each fight) so I'm not going to hold my breath for this one. Although the battle system looks similar to Valkyrie Profile - my favorite game - I doubt this will be brought over stateside.
Was I the only one who thought this was coming in 2009? It was not marketed or shown as much as it should have been. Can't wait though.
Well, I wasn't at all emotionally affected when I played Bioshock (maybe I felt kind of weird at one part when you had to protect), but I mean, this is war, or rather a slaughter so I can see why it would be more emotionally affecting than something like Bioshock where it's just an outbreak of people going insane? But I doubt it'll have a big impact.
Question: Is it this friday? cuz it does say "this Friday Night" but at the bottom it says "So circle this date on your calendar: Friday, May 30th at 1AM ET/PT. There will be punch and pie." which is two weeks from this friday... anyone?
I didn't like FFXII that much... Disgaea was my personal favorite (the first, second was pretty good but not as entertaining as the first). Also, take out 10 and 4 and replace them with SMT: Nocturne and Dark Cloud.
In all truthfulness, I think this doesn't look like PS2 game, rather a decent - at best - looking game visually. I mean, comparing this to something like Front Mission, this is a major upgrade for the S-RPG genre. Then again, it really doesn't look amazing. Too bad I'm not a big Zoids fan =)
Yeah, why would Bay even consider this? Or is this Boll just making up **** to promote his movie, Postal? Well, it will either have no one in the crowd, or a couple who have collected tickets that on the ground who walked out early.
They're obviously behind times... http://n4g.com/ps2/News-698... That and on the 1up podcast - i think, i listen to too many so i can't remember for sure - they were talking how they were playing the build Sega America had.
I kinda agree with you. I didn't like the game that much, and that cinematic wasn't the best, but there was a certain beat to it that drove me in. :)
I've played all those games before - 7 of which i've played on my PS2 - and 8 of which I've beaten. I do consider Red Dead Revolver and Second Sight low in popularity, and I also heard Psi-Ops' sequel is halted cuz of low sales, but Max Payne and Riddick did very well.
Yeah, I actually encountered this annoying problem in the demo. I used hdmi for video and optical out into my 7.1 surround system. I hoped they fixed it for the release... but I suppose not.
I'm curious, do the characters need those glasses to get into the dark hour? I've been wondering this because in the video that was put up, when they're in the real world, they don't have them, but every time I see them in the Dark Hour, it seems they're always wearing them. Maybe they are special glasses, just like the special guns in the last game? :)
I tell everyone this, but Psychonauts and Godhand are two of the few most influential games, in my opinion. Both of these games made me get back onto track with 3D modeling and animation. I wish they weren't overlooked =(
Now how did Turok get into 4th up here? haha. Kind of surprised on DMC4 being so low.
Hmmm, $30 is a very very good price for a "greatest hits version" of the game... but what really is new in the single player that they didn't want to have the system recognize your previous saves on the original LP? It's just a couple new modes, isn't it? In any case, I'm on the edge here.
"but an early 2009 date would be less than surprising than a Walrus." Uhhh does that even make any sense?
In any case... I can see it coming out early next year... Capcom seems to enjoy it (DMC4, RE4, DMC2, etc.)
Wait, where does it say anything about a demo? But cool it's coming this winter. I Can't wait for it.
