Your dream. My chaos.

I imagine the reveal will just be a screen showing all their comments and tweets on how excited, awesome and super pumped they are. Then they will look at the crowd, blink, bow, and walk off stage.

I've never been fond of removing features as a way of solving a problem. It's sort of, pathetic. Hopefully this is simply a temporary fix so the game runs, and in the meantime they find a proper solution with all the features being implemented. If they can't figure it out however, well then they really are just a mid level studio in terms of optimizaiton.

I wasn't impressed with the Base Game, so I'm glad I avoided the usual Bethesda quality control, or lack thereof, of their content that's been released from that point on.

Depends what you classify as a failure. To me it will most likely be fantastic because of what I'm interested in, and what my expectations are. I'm not lost in hype, but I am incredibly interested in what the experience will be like. Still, this is a bit of a clickbait title so...for shame *shakes head*

Technically EA shouldn't be thinking about the "kids" when the game is rated M. But hey, money outshines the pointless ESRB rating system, clearly. Which is a shame, since we get games that are dumbed down, as if only children were playing them, not that there's anything wrong with a child playing a game but you get the point.

One franchise listened to the community and heard the desire to "go back to the past." Another ignored the community and decided to keep pushing towards the future (while baiting with a remaster behind a paywall).

To be fair, I trust neither of these publisher/developer combos anymore, and will never pre-order a game from either of them. However I do know which one I will support after a successful (unbroken) launch.

Celebrate? Uh... Look, it's good to reevaluate the game's progress and if it will be ready in time, and yes, it is respectable to not release a broken product. However, in what way is delaying, something to be proud of? Let alone celebrated? To me it shows an overestimation in their ability to deliver on time, on a chosen date. Things do come up, things do change, but in no way am I going to celebrate someone's unfortunate inability to reach the given release date. No matter how y...

That's cool. I'm looking forward to when someone else writes about why they plan to buy the game. And when someone else writes about how they aren't sure.

Let's not forget about the articles about how people might buy it twice.

The game is going to be so amazing, just you see, the game is great with words, the best words, all the awesome words.

This game I think has had the most statements made with zero gameplay shown.

I won't hold my breath on how destructive these environments will be. Bad Company 2 was leaps and bounds ahead of Bf3 and bf4. So whatever word they want to call it, levolution, whatever, I'm still skeptical. Otherwise the game will be fun, that I don't doubt.

I agree with this completely. The story annoyed me when it came to the characters. It all seemed watered down, missed the mark and left some really fundamental moments left to smoke, replaced with, well something really weak.

I love hearing about how awesome it is, over and over.

Without ever seeing a single thing.

Rationally speaking it will stop people from buying the next instalment. However there will still be numerous people who buy it, both very young and uncaring, or fully aware and indifferent, or a mixture of the two.

From a business perspective this move makes sense. However it also just reminds everyone that this is the publisher with multiple studios working on a franchise that isn't for the gamer, but simply for the profit. There's no heart in the games anymore, i...

Its safe to assume that the gameplay mechanics as well as graphics will be the general, copy paste format with a few tweaks here and there. I hold only interest in their bold decision to keep a remaster behind a paywall. I feel sorry for those who will throw their money at Infinite Warfare, only for a chance to revisit Cod4.

If Activision had an actual heart (and it doesn't) they'd have either done a full complete remaster of Cod4 (all maps) and that would be the re...

I think its time I trade my copy in. I enjoyed the game until the "End Game" and since then I've been waiting to see what they'd do, but it sounds like the game has imploded in on itself. Shame.

No one is asking for the Remaster to be free. People however would like it to be a separate purchase from Infinite Warfare. They'd also like to know why there's only 10 maps being remastered. Not only is Activision putting the remastered version of Cod4 behind a huge pay wall, the actual remaster is only, arguably, half its original game (online).

So, ones financial situation has nothing to do with the fact that Activision is once again riding on the fact that peopl...
