Happy to hear. Eye update will be interesting to see.
It won't flop, simply being that like a drug, once hooked, it is hard to step away from even though you're aware it's not good for you. Activision knows the magic behind making a profit.
But long gone are the days where I care 2 cents about what someone else spends their money on. The game is released poorly? Missing content? I don't care. I don't support those practices/games, and if someone else chooses to, so be it.
Destiny is not m...
Anyone else get a grin from seeing the "Heating Up" icon attached to this article?
Great review. And after having spent around 30h so far in the game, I'd give it a 7 at most. Fun experience, but a let down in retrospect to what was once a great series (in terms of quality of dialogue, dialogue choices, facial animations).
I have the remaster for ps3. But Jak X is a nice addition. Loved that one.
Nothing they say holds any credibility. Destiny upon release was an empty shell. If Destiny 2 releases with an incredible story, awesome, but until then, all I see is a greedy person saying "aw come on you can trust me!"
But clearly people will buy this. Some will love, some will hate, and the cycle will continue. Because if Activision knows one thing, it's how to make a profit.
If they fix the story, I'll applaud them. The game is fun, but the story is a mess. They added a single cut scene in verse 2 of chapter 13. The cut scene is cool, but it only brings up more questions.
1. Why does Ravus have a sudden change of heart? (Think about it, from Kingslaive to the small bits in FF15, his character is all over the place. I don't understand his motives at all).
2. Why is the Emperor all of a sudden crazy? (He was set up as a main vill...
No.
I care less about how attractive they are, and more about the fact the animations themselves are a mess.
Exclusives need to exist. Period.
Fair enough. However even if my example is wrong in the context of Xbox One, it's Activision.
They'll pull some kind of move. One way or another.
Not interested.
It's Activision.
$5 that WAW will be remastered as DLC. And it's map packs, will also cost $$$. DLC for DLC.
Enjoy.
Can't argue with this. Well said. I was worried for a bit that it was sheer anger but the points are well rounded. Good read.
I think, my main gripe, is that there's been countless moments where I wished, with all of my heart, that I could be ruthless. Say, or do something bad to the bone. But what I get instead is, "Aw, okay Sam, you're right," and the situation where I would have responded with force, is pathetically brushed to the side.
An example: coming across a character being beaten. Response? Walk away, or, walk away. Wow...gee...great.
I think, in the ...
Gameplay in terms of combat, is certainly better. The menu's, while needing a trim, do function once you figure out the logic. As for voice acting, I actually think they did a good job. It comes down to the dialogue however, the dialogue is more of an issue than the ones delivering the lines. Some sections are good, others, leave me wanting more, and in some cases, I just laugh at what's being said.
What you enjoy having in a game, is on you. Naturally.
However, there's nothing wrong with a person being gay, lesbian, trans, etc. What's wrong is stating otherwise. You find it what, against the rules of the universe? That's rich, considering you are but one tiny spec in that universe, yet you claim to know what's right, and what's wrong?
You are homophobic, and partially daft. I don't usually comment on this garbage online, but ...
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
SIGH.
There's clearly passion/ambition in the game. The environments are incredible. Unfortunately other areas of the game aren't as polished. That doesn't mean they had no passion for their work.
From the screenshots, it looks like a massive improvement. The eyes are important so them fixing it/tweaking it, does a lot.
