From a roster perspective. No, it isn't the most ambitious by a long shot. Nearly half the roster is comprised of 3 Anime (which means a lot of manga's didn't make it into the base roster). For a 50th celebration, it's a tad lacking in the celebration department.
That's right folks. The best shield, is a tax - a tax on video games.

At least we know now that DD2 is a likely possibility in the future, and not just wishful thinking.
Looking forward to it, ten years from now.
In terms of content, the Division 2 would be the option of the two I'd suggest you invest in. The developers learned from the first Division, whereas Anthem is going to be Bioware testing the water.
Some guidelines to save everyone harm.
1. Don't pre-order, don't even buy this on day 1. Just wait a few weeks, days even, and this game will have anywhere from a 25-50% discount if you are interested.
2. Don't expect a groundbreaking story. This is primarily a looter/shooter.
3. If the mt's aren't bad at first, they gradually will be (if EA catches onto Activision's tactics).
Good to hear.
Microtransaction is enough to stab Hype right in the heart.
I think there’s only 6 in S2.
@NewMonday
In that context I understand the frustration/worry.
It’s not pandering. If the devs didn’t see a proper solution then they’d leave it be, but since they’ve chosen to update the content that leaves an impression they found a solution, narratively speaking.
Considering the content with the update hasn’t been addressed - all I see are cancers flipping out.
This is good to hear. *Thumbs up
Nobody loses, everyone wins.
If I hear that the story is actually amazing, I'll pick this up.
:) nice.
Sounds great. I'll wait until all the dlc drops and the final version releases (saves me loads of money).
For those wondering what the list entails:
1. Anthem
2. Days Gone
3. Dying Light 2
4. GreedFall
5. Generation Zero
6. Rage 2
7. Far Cry New Dawn
8. Ghosts of Tsushima
9. Mount and Blade: Banner Lord
10. Biomutant
11. The Sinking City
12. The Division 2
13. Crackdown 3
Already have 1 and 2 pre-ordered. :D
Nobody is saying you can't have a heterosexual character. The issue isn't even the fact the game is issuing a linear choice - the problem is that the game advertised itself as having the option to choose your own love interest/bang bang interest, and after 50-100 hours people formed personas for their character of choice. Heck, the devs even said they'd never force anything onto the player in regards to this aspect.
This meant that going, be it heterosexual or m...
I have no doubt this'll shape up to be a good game, just, not on launch day. I'll be waiting for when they iron out all the bugs.
