If we're ever blessed with the day EA goes under, I'll feel incredibly satisfied.
Game changing? What, like new ways of garnering peoples money? Of that I have no doubt, so sure, game changing.
Scores, being plural, was the indicator I was implying reviews outside of IGN's.
Oh I often put more weight in the consensus from people who play it. There's been numerous times I personally love a game that doesn't review all that well. People are also often quick to curse the clouds the moment a game dips below an 8 when they see a review score, which I find just, ridiculous.
If you end up enjoying the game, let me know. I'm literally bogged down with games so if Days Gone is a good game, I'll add it to my collection in the coming mon...
I didn't expect the scores to be so divided, but alas that is the power of opinion. The concept of Days Gone interests me, but in our current gaming culture, it takes more than interest to get me to fork money over. I'll pick this up when the price is lower and my backlog is less. I appreciate the fact this game does exist, despite those who desperately try to claim it's a generic "zombie" game.
At the end of the day, 6.5 isn't a bad score, it'...
Well I've got Persona 5 in a steelbook, so hopefully I can nab Royal the same way (then it won't bother me) lol.
I'd be devastated if I had spent money on this. Thankfully I didn't. I was abandoned in Andromeda, but boy, does it look pretty now.
Does this have to be purchased separately? Or can it be obtained via dlc/expansion on the base game?
Vampyr is one of the few games where I've played it multiple times, and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience each and every time.
Ends up being to celebrate the original being playable on next gen consoles xD
I’ll tell you what’s boring me. The zero sense of originality from these websites.
In theory:
Outside the use of the game engine, I don't think much would change. A lot of the internal problems comes down to management - and the burnout of the creatives who don't want any part of the 'magic' anymore.
...Wait there's an outrage? o.0
Like.. while I might be someone who thinks it would've been cool to be another species, there's nothing wrong with the lead being a white male. The initial marketing of the game has already formed a decent connection with the character.
If there is actual outrage *scans nooks and corners, then I'd simply say those who get mad at a white lead in a game are no better than those who flip literal shiii when they see two g...
To clarify. I've enjoyed all the experiences, but the remake was hard to enjoy since it was, as you've pointed out, geared towards children. So my lack of interest is because I imagine the remake marks what's to be expected if the series returns, and I have zero interest in that.
Zero interest. The original's were great. But the remake of the first game was so... watered down in edginess. Ratchet felt like a child. The game was still fun, beautiful - but plot wise, I felt nothing.
$399. Their goal is to sell as many as possible, then recoup/earn from services and the games (which they’d succeed at with a large user base).
So I’d be surprised if they repeated their PS3 mistake by creating a pay wall that most felt icky trying to climb over.
Fair point, lots of cool species that could've given the character added complexity - uniqueness, butttt, I'm not one to judge something I haven't played.
Redeem? No. This could be however, a blip in the usual status quo that EA is in love with. Keep in mind, anyone who thinks EA is suddenly having a change of hard is gullible. EA will never change, they'll simply throw in the odd curve ball to make that a question people ask - lowering their guard.
As for the game, might be great, who knows.
At this point let them do whatever they want, I just won't be buying it.
So the full thing will be complete in what, 30 years?
