You're amazing.
They always say there's certain topics you don't openly discuss in person, I believe they are (from what I recall):
Money
Politics
Religion
Money isn't as big of a deal to some, but enter a conversation over your political or religious stance and you can find yourself facing off against a dragon.
Oh Mr. Taxman
that's hilarious.
Only costs a fortune.
Unless you genuinely love the game and it's the only thing you want to play, it's a waste of money.
lol so the community isn't one of Destiny's positives?
Darn eh. Another reason checked off the list.
They know how to make money.
That doesn't mean they are good at heart.
That $50 is going to bring forth the stars.
But you know, totally couldn't have been possible without the season pass.

Doesn't look bad, and I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
But this isn't beautiful. It's decent.
It'll sell millions.
That said, that doesn't mean it will be a fantastic game. It'll be a decent game, and it's source material is why it'll sell like hot cakes.
Am I interested in this game? No. I know it's going to be meh, at best. (In my personal opinion.) I find the fps market to be plagued with the worst season pass cash grab nonsense / screaming children. Additionally, I don't support Dice since bf4. Will be awhile before the...
Does it involve Singapore?
It's Bethesda.
That said.
It's Bethesda.
@ Venom
So because there are those who are addicted to the Cod formula, it's okay that everyone else gets smacked with it?
$50 is ATROCIOUS.
I don't know who in their right mind smiles at that price and instant purchases it. The season passes have practically doubled in price since they first started.
People have a right to complain, it's sickening.
Sigh, so you're stating that everyone is in the wrong for complaining about the poor practice that even the developer apologized for after understanding the reasons behind the complaints.
Here's one of many links explaining what the pre-order bonus structure was like.

The problem with what Deus Ex tried to pull is that you weren't going to get everything, you were choosing between two options, and were full aware of the fact that they had all of these things to offer. Additionally, some of the content only became available to choose from if others preordered.
Essentially, it wanted a mass amount of people to willingly deny themselves half of the content being offered, and pay for it before the game is even out.

They have returned.
Our beautiful children.
$60 games ($79 Canadian)
+ $50 season pass.
I see where this is going.
Not entirely surprising, but as long as the consumer base doesn't support preorder bonuses like what happened with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, things will be alright.
We're at a point where two things are happening.
1. AAA games are monopolizing the aspect of getting money out of our pockets (season passes, dlc, game of the year edition, micro transactions, so forth) while in some cases diminishing the quality of the game, in others, amplifying it to legendary status. There's a lot of amazing games coming out, and some not so amazing and at no surprise, the quality consistently comes from the trustworthy.
2. Indie ...
I don't get excited anymore over games that are years away. It's unhealthy and creates unrealistic expectations. I enjoy what's out now, and when the time comes close to when a game is going to be released, that's when I start getting intrigued at a high level.
As of now it's a cool sounding title from a respectable development studio.
Nintendo has always had the imagination.
They just need the power. If they achieve that then the sky is the limit.
