@nunley33 it is a new PS4 thing. It does one of two things... it says "Sony Computer Entertainment Network is Busy" or it just gives you an error message when trying to view your Friends list. I've already spoke with AskPlaystation on Twitter and they confirmed that it's unexpected maintenance meaning that there was a problem but they are working on it.
Not worried about the western release because all trailers were localized in English all but text. I'm sure its going to be a worldwide release.
@thekhurg take it back or sell it then. They are coming from a free multiplayer model and this caused a weak network. Now that they are charging for PSN it will take time before it will ever become comparable to the stability of XBL after having so many new users.
It's maintenance... you can never see your friends list during a maint. period
It was bad when it first released on PC too. They need time to develop the game into what it is on PC.
It's made for games. They didn't focus on making anything else of the quality as the gaming aspect.
@mikeslemonade Just tried talking to this guy... It's pointless. For someone that helped make such an amazing game the "gamers voice" aspect doesn't exist to this guy. @Paulcek I do agree with you for the most part but the only thing I disagree with is that it no longer is lacking games. It's still lacking games. It's a game console. This means that it's supposed to have a variety of games of all genres. When I can go to RPGS or shooters on gamestops website and see less than 10 games after a year... your lacking games
Then explain why the Wii U still has barely any games? That's why he is in no position. Once his console hits number one again then he will be in the position to talk.
The fact that he is in the presidential position he is in should make him responsible for the Wii U's lack of games. Is he really tryna say a console needs games? Dude you're console is over a year in it's life cycle (maybe a little less. Can't remember release date) and it still doesn't have many games. Please allow the real next gen consoles to build while you sit back and wait for something to happen.
Not trying to sound like a fanboy but I don't think that this is true. If it is then wouldn't someone just have to not update the PS4 and do some "hacking" to find the truth within the code? They wouldn't make it easy to find the truth. I honestly believe that the first day patch is to keep unauthorized reviewers from posting early PS4 content with all the features before launch. I may be wrong but till they are really exposed with sources it's hard to believe.
Why ruin a classic? Some people just imagine the game with better graphics but the game turn based engine... maybe slightly improved for better strategy but they want the same game to look better and I support that. You don't know that you will like FF15 because it isn't out yet so it would be stupid to risk it.
Word to Nvidia's boss. While graphics do have to look good in games... they don't have to be better than PC graphics to be a better game. Examples: The Last Of Us, Uncharted, SOME Final Fantasy games, Kingdom Hearts, Killzone. Basically exclusives are more than half of the time better than multi platform(not including COD and Battlefield because those games are damn well good on any platform).
I disagree with you. It was good to have free multiplayer but that wasn't a reason to buy one. You forget that there will still be free to play multiplayer games that don't require a subscription but the reason they added multiplayer to the subscription service is because they needed to enhance the servers to operate better as well as prepare for the gaikai servers to go up which will add a form of backwards compatibility to the console. I don't think they are coming too soon. We live in a time where social networking is dominant and both the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3 lacked true social connectivity. We all like beating our friends scores and teaming up with them within games but we never had a way to show our skills to our friends when they aren't logged in.
