I only find this to be an issue for someone who allows randoms on the internet to share play with them. My friends wouldn't do this and it's no different from letting someone in real life do the same thing.

I honestly don't feel like it's broken. I can play single player without any issue and enjoy the game. Now incomplete... yes, I agree. It's missing some promised features and the multiplayer is just now starting to work as it should (for me anyways). So broken is the wrong word... incomplete is more of the right word.

If a developer only creates textures up to 720p then that is all that is displayed and is all that will be displayed. You can up the resolution all you want but the textures will not get any better which is why a ton of games become unstable once you go any higher. Now if the developer created textures for a higher possibility then you can up the res and see a greater result even if the game is capped at 720p.
