Maybe they have been working on enhancements. Things can't be done overnight and by focusing on something other than gaming you won't see any enhancements or improvements by losing focus. From the beginning Sony said this is FOR THE GAMERS. So you should expect gaming to come first.
This is a game console. Gaming enhancements and features come first.
I haven't seen anything about this coming to Xbox OpS4ne. There are many indies on PC & PS4. Right now its a console exclusive coming to PC and the possibility of coming to Xbox One.
i think people are failing to see that this is not needed to finish the game. Just don't donate.
That's only on PS4. PS3 and Vita remains free.

I never said they'd never add it. I said it isn't there for a reason. There is no place for it now. I'm sure just like MP3 playback and all the other things that it can do without... it will be added. I simply don't think that it needs it at all. I didn't flip anything. It isn't a media center and that is one of the reasons it isn't there now

@JoGam then that goes back to my point... why use the PS4 for it? I just think there are better features and priorities than features that not many want nor will utilize.
In other words, why add a feature that will do no good for social gaming?
I'm sure video chatting will come but once the more prioritized and requested features are knocked out.

Actually no, playing a game while video chatting would require memory from the CPU meaning it could hinder performance and it would be a distraction while gaming. So no, it makes since. Social gaming would be... Twitch Streaming or Ustream if your into that page... voice chatting... and sharing video clips. Video Chatting doesn't fall into social gaming. Yes, it's social but doesn't fall under social gaming. The PS3 didn't do it while playing games for memory reasons only but ...
It's a game console not a media center. The sole purpose of the Playstation 4 is a Social Game Game console. Get a computer or an Xbox if you want video chat.
Why should they get rid of features? The more options the better. Simply don't use it.

I was just telling someone in another post that this update will contain a bunch of new features in addition to HDCP off and upgraded twitch support. They said it was wishful thinking due to bandwidth and such... well here we go. Sony isn't taking the many small updates approach and delivering a ton of new features in one huge update. I'm happy about this.

It's not impossible. We are talking about a company that is accomplishing streamed rental games. If it happens... I called it. So far better twitch streaming and viewing, exporting game captures has been granted official as well as the removal of HDCP. They have already said "there will be plenty in the update to excite everyone" so we will see when the time comes around.
Or maybe they are trying to add many features into one update instead of separating each update like Microsoft has been doing with the Xbone. They have updated more because they are adding features within each update. I bet Sony is creating one major update instead of many so the consumers won't have to wait for most of the features pitched to them. I rather wait till they get it right because once the update comes out many people are going to be complaining the systems bricked or whateve...
Buy a bigger memory card then. I don't see the issue. I mean are you trying to store every PS Plus game on your Vita? Just delete the ones you play the least and buy the biggest memory card on the market. 64 GB does me just fine.
For me Yeah... I beat it 7 times on PS3 but never played the Left Behind DLC due to me trading my PS3 for a PS4. I feel the story is so much of a masterpiece that it is worth the $60 without including the updated graphics and DLC so I think this is a steal. It's like losing your favorite movie and buying it again because it was so good. Just an expensive movie haha
This time it was my fault because I didn't see it was opinion and clicked it because it was destiny related. I feel like I should be able to either filter out opinion pieces just like we filter consoles or they shouldn't be here.
