PlanetSide 2 is a completely different type of game. My advice to PS4 owners: make up your own mind and try it, if you please, since it is free.
Um, not sure what you watched, but no, it doesn't. It's not as smooth as the PC version (I play @ 120fps, so that makes sense), but it's nowhere close to being "ass".
OT: Day 1 + F2P = Happy me!
Your problem is you take this console war stuff just as serious as the people you're calling out. Thus, you're no better.
OT: I'm sure this will be sorted. If it's the worst thing to happen to the PS4, I think it will be fine.
Not sure why you have so many disagrees, but yes, I agree.
@ H0RSE: Wrong again. It's more than just changes to the hardware, obviously, that show they weren't, and still aren't, fully prepared here. It happened to Sony last gen, them this gen. It's not just the system, though, their PR teams conflict with one another, policies have all but been retracted, and every week, we get some new info showing things are not so good for them. Show me where I'm wrong, I'll gladly continue to dispute it.
I can dig that yo...
@ H0RSE: The hardware in the X1 has also been adjusted, while Sony's stuff is the same as it is when it was unveiled nearly 7 months ago.
Microsoft wasn't ready to go, period. Plenty of evidence to draw that conclusion.
Sony seems to be coasting while MS is "fighting tooth and nail to regain much of their image". This may not be a return of PlayStation 2-like dominance, but you'd be pretty naive to think MS has anywhere close to the grip they had with the 360 vs PS3. THOSE days are loooong gone.
Um, the X1 nor PS4 are out, but if pre-orders are any indication, the PS4 is going to outsell it in the US, at least for a while and DEFINITELY at launch! So, your second sentence is premature and irrelevant to what he was saying.
OT: Yes, an exciting time for the company, I'm sure! Surely an exciting time for me and many other gamers.
Because without a shred of proof, calling the additional 4GB of RAM a "rushed add-on" would be grasping at straws.
In this case, MS has stumbled. Period. Dot. We can make excuses, be in denial, or whatever. I agree with the notion that Sony caught them off-guard, based on their constant missteps.
From your comments, you're the only one having a meltdown because somebody doesn't like your favored console.
Don't waste your energy. He's as bad as a spam-bot, he does this in any Sony related topic. Ignore and let him, and the bubbles, fizzle out.
OT: Nothing but positive news coming from this game! Staring the gen off with a bang!
They have me for PS5 and nothing's even announced. ;)
@ Addictive: Help us understand what there is to be in denial about. One has enjoyed, as mentioned, a tidal wave of positive news. The other, has stumbled more than I've ever seen any company stumble in this industry.
Hint: surely there's denial, but it stems from the source that claimed it.
Which is irrelevant since his comment is about a service that has been available on a home console for nearly 5 years. Second Life would be the new comer there.
Leftovers? If it is the exact same game, it would mean they got the exact same meal. Pretty flawed thinking, if I do say so myself. Then again, the irony of the statement confirms the desperation of the first poster here, since he couldn't say "only on Xbox ONE", but "only on MS". As a PC gamer, if I don't have to get an X1 for Titanfall, that doesn't help its case.
OT: I agree that this game may play a pivotal role in the 8th gen.
Must really sting, then, that Knack is receiving positive feedback. Should work on your posting style, though, those two bubbles won't last forever, you know! ;)
OT: I have a feeling the SP will be where this games receives the most high notes, because this is the second time we've been informed that the MP seems unpolished and messy.
Yes, well done, among other things where their feet are still killing them from the mountain of Pre-Summer/Summer abuse.
Anyway OT: Not an issue for me, as I always used the stock HDDs in the PS3, and unless the PS4's HDD space is sub 250GB, I'm not worried about it now.
LOL, absolutely perfect response! :D
Not really, since the PS2 and PS1 were more dominant and PlayStation is returning to many of its roots, including being one of the cheaper options.
Good, so I'm sure you feel Titanfall should be timed as well - so everyone can play it, yes?
