Everyone wants the holy grail of 60fps to give enough cushion for hiccups dropping below about 20-25fps is where youd notice.

Just playing the free games? Horrible purchase just for that. All those been free for a long time on the pc.
You should consider selling it on ebay and pocket a few hundred bucks. Then you cam rebuy it after xmas and have monies for several games, imo.

Xbone all sold in my area. Wasn't going to buy one anyways, but just a curiousity thing.
All stores (target, toysrus, walmart) around my city (Minneapolis) been sold out of x1 and ps4 for past few weeks now. That is of course when I go in at normal hours. The electronics tell told me if I wanted a chance at one had to show up at 8am each day. Im like ya no thanks.
Last I checked AMD and others were making the hardware and I don't know of 1 piece of hardware that MS uses little elves to craft.

This thing looks real solid and has a small form factor for portability. However, without a flip up screen holder like Moga, it's gunna be a tough sell.

You can pay $10 extra to upgrade to the ps4 edition(if you still have the ps3 version).

The problem is that all 3 consoles are flawed in different ways. For a lot of peeps, there is no one size fits all to meet all your gaming needs.
How would they sue, when you get a free replacement in the first year under warranty? Not possible to sue.

I agree with most of what you said, except for on mobile gaming. I still gotta go with Nvidia (performance wise) for the Tegra 4 they are using in Nvidia shield and in some tablets.
Pricewise, I could see people making a case that AMD gpu's is the better bang for the buck if you really needed to save an extra $50 or so. (I don't have to budget that closely, so that's a non-issue for me.)
