Most software developers jump studios alot, this is nothing new....
Unless they are of some importance they can easily be replaced.
The targeting system is brutal, it randomly selects the closest target to your invisible 'indicator' - which I could not understand why there isn't one. Come on F5, this is rogue squadron with dragons and we're not stupid you may as well make it a little easier to target our enemies with this brutal control scheme.
I haven't played it before the update, but just started playing it now.
I don't agree with the really bad reviews, IMO Lair gets a 7.5 but no less, no more. T...
Taker_129 - There is nothing wrong with innovation, but to force feed something so imprecise and buggy down the throats of the consumer is not only biting the hand that feeds you it's also causing the consumer to lose trust in your media.
I own Lair (it was release at some EB games stores a few days early in canada), and it's pretty much the farthest thing from innovation you can get.
The sixaxis is a joke, and so far I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise. With Lair and warh...
For the future of the PS3 developers just have to can the whole idea of using the sixaxis controls, they are a piss poor excuse for motion control and IMO would turn alot of people off from playing PS3 games if more of them decide to use controls like Lair.
However given the Lair reviews i'm sure there are alot of developers that won't even touch the sixaxis controls with a 10 foot pole now.
The sixaxis is just not responsive enough to use as the primary control for a game, Fact...
Wow...that was by far the most unfunny, and lame top 10 list ever...
What? The first N-gage wasn't disastrous enough for Nokia?
lol @ typical fanboy response : "Who cares! I thought it sucked anyways!!"
Wake up fanboys, Haze is an unproven IP that reeks of 'mediocre to good shooter' and you're all bashing Halo 3 - An IP that is far beyond proven and has one of the largest fanbases in the world.
You're all claiming not to be fanboys????
System seller? lol....
I have all three systems and with the games coming out I'll probably not even rent this let alone buy it.
There's R&C, Socom, Uncharted, and others, this game is not only going to get lost in the shuffl...
Gamepro is a rag, it hasn't been a legitimate source for gaming rumours in years, out of the past year I've seen maybe 3-4 rumours that actually game to fruition.
Basically they get them the same way we do - THE INTERNET.
It's not harder to develop for, the developers just use that as an excuse because saying:
'We are a business here to make money, and there is just not enough support for the PS3 to bother allocating an entire development team to the PS3 version of multiplatform games so we just have a rag tag group of programmers port it over from the 360 version'
just wouldn't jive with the masses, and the first developer to say that would be burned at the stake by media and fanboys alike.

Wow, the mighty have fallen.
EGM I used to anxiously await your next issue, now I wipe my ass with it!
Don't make yourself look too stupid, you just labelled games that aren't even out yet.
Seriously you fanboys need to shut the f*ck up and get jobs so you can enjoy ALL the consoles instead of just one.
It's the note the board that is the problem, it's the game Wiifit. It's ridiculous, almost as stupid a 'face training'.
Cheat code central??? FAKE!
lol@
"The band infamously blamed file-sharing programs, which were quickly rising in popularity at the exact same time that Metallica was quickly disappearing from the mainstream consciousness, for the decline in their records, believing that it was Napster, not their own douchebaggery, that stopped fans from buying their albums."
Good to hear after the major cliffhanger ending and no announcement for almost a year now.
The way it ended I expected DLC or an add-on mere months after the main game was released.
EGM has given out some pretty lame scores for some great games; one comes to mind that's recent is the darkness where one of the three reviewers gave it 6.5 because he kept getting lost - GOOD REASON.
Last year = No competition
This year = Two companies
Enough said, whoever wrote the article is just making news; it's their jobs as journalists.
They really do have to fully adress the hardware problem though, prolonging the warranty isn't going to cut it. This isn't the PC operating system market, they don't have a monopoly and consistently releasing shoddy merchandise will come full swing if this isn't fixed soon.
MS has to know they are quickly losing th...
Is this one not going to mysterious drop it's connection and not reconnect until I hard boot the system while it's in the process of charging?
The existing version of sixaxis is a joke, they better fix all connectivity issues.
Say goodbye to blu-ray guys :(
