With TLOU remastered being cheap on PSN atm I thought it was about time for a second play-through, I forgot how great looking it was - HDR and 60fps only makes it better.
@mike
It doesn't matter that TVs don't support 1440p, PS4 Pro upscales everything to 4K anyway - its just the higher the original rez is the better the final image will appear. Battlefield1 running at ~1440p still looks class!
@PSmaster
Some fanboys on here believe the audio from their XB1X is far superior to anyone using a PS4 just because the box says Dolby Atmos, they fail to grasp you still need a compatible Receiver to decode, amplify and plug the speakers into. I'm fine with 5.1 DTS for now but do wish PS4 Pro had come with a UHD Bluray drive.
HDMI input - meh.
1440p maybe? Although if a 1080p 60fps option is available i'd probably go for that.
Warthunder has had PS4/PC crossplay for years but it ain't all good news - aimbot cheats ruined the tanks mode some time ago.
My E3 week off work just got even better :)
I suspect compatibility with the base systems played a big part in choice of CPU being used in the mid-gen consoles.
That won't be the case with the next gen, I fully expect some sort of Zen core.
We all know our PCs can output to a TV but I still prefer playing console on the sofa - PC at a desk with KB/M. Its just a personal preference thing.
I've read a couple of articles that mention PS4 Pro has checkerboard rendering baked into HW, I'm sure XB1X is capable of the same rendering technique but not sure its handled the same - the XB has more power anyway so fanboys shouldn't fret.

Thanks for the disagree - it made me have a re-think. It's actually 7 - my bad :D

"The X Box One X is much better to develop for" - how many games have you developed for XB1X or PS4 Pro exactly?
@Lar
Obviously we all know CPU, GPU and RAM will be upgraded on the next gen of consoles - that ain't news to anyone.
My point was simply try not to label someone delusional just because they have a slightly different opinion to yourself - both of us are guessing! I believe we will see more games at 60fps when and if consoles use some sort of Zen core as opposed to Jaguar - you don't. Its no biggie.
Try the demo, its good.
You call people delusional yet everything you write is also complete speculation, just like every other comment here.
I believe 60fps will become far more common place in consoles with the introduction of Ryzen - some games already run at 60fps on Jaguar cores ffs! I understand some PC gamers dislike it when consoles manage 60fps though...for some reason?
I disagree considering some titles already hit 4K60 running on Jaguar cores and GCN.
Ryzen2 with Navi or a mature Vega will show you the way :)
@dial
I was talking about the biggest news for me - not you.
@will
You think a 12.6TF GPU (a 200% increase) would be a small upgrade? Fair enough.
I'm hoping for a late 2020 release, I don't see a decent bump in performance coming cheap before then.
The biggest news at E3 will be Borderlands 3 :)
Dinosaurs are incredible in VR...but no mention of a PSVR release :(
I also jumped into PS late-on, catching up on exclusives has been great. You should play the Uncharted collection on PS4 if you haven't already.
