That's fine but i wouldn't use the term "best" if you are referring to rez and FR, to the uninitiated they might think that means literally hands down the best and the only real option for a console right now which we all know isnt true for everybody.
If graphics, FR and load times were your most important metrics I would go with a PC (with a big SSD in it for games - load times metric).

Define "best", I assume for you that's entirely based on graphical output which is fine but "best" for me is the highest spec'd Sony console available because I like Sony exclusives, I have a 4K HDR TV and I want to be able to play online with my mates (they all have PS4s) so PS4 Pro it is!

I've been thinking the same since the new SKU has HDR pass-through, its down in price too.
Some sort of Zen core would be the obvious choice for CPU in the next generation of consoles, i think Zen2 is due out 2019 - along with 60fps as standard again hopefully.

So your interpretation of "the PC world blows away" is entirely based on levels of graphical fidelity? I'm sure many would believe a generic term like blows away would mean best - best is completely subjective so why don't you jump down off that high horse before you hurt yourself.

Actually that's not a fact at all - just opinion.
You cant say XB1X isn't outdated but PS4 pro is - they are both powered by very similar AMD tech. I understand the XB1X has a more capable GPU and more RAM but that goes without saying, it came out a year later at £100 more.
I think many of the PC gamers on here give Sony the nod for at least supporting their fans with a decent line-up of 1st party games. Plus i don't think ive seen many (if any) PS4 Pro users on here spew crap about their console being more po...
We may not have to wait that long, I assume they stared working on Ghost of Tsushima straight after First Light which was like 3 years ago.
I just hope stealth isn't the main focus of this game...I can handle a bit.

If you can play the campaign and single races without PS+ its still worth it, most of my time has been spent in these modes - only played the online twice.
I almost didnt get GTS due to its focus on MP but im so glad i did, theres way more SP stuff to do than i expected...and more coming by the sounds of it. The best thing is no stupid visible racing line, hate that sh!te! The recommended gear in GT is a far better cornering guide imo.

I don't believe its the Devs not taking advantage of the HW, its the fact Jaguar CPUs aren't particularly powerful. I know MS went on about the "custom CPU" in XB1X in the E3 conf but fundamentally its still just a higher clocked Jaguar.
