Nice show :)
The "faster levelling" is simply to get new players up to the stage where they will buy the expansion packs faster.
It is a business decision - not desperation. They want new players to not feel intimidated by the high levels so they can level quick to purchase the new software.
Why do so many people forget that gaming is first and foremost a business.
It is in Beta and currently being trialled worldwide...what a stupid point to make!
Fair enough :)
"All the comments I see here are from people that don`t play and love stereotypes...sad".
Couldn't agree more!
The mainstream media stereotypes us evil gamers enough, do we need more?
As mentioned in the article this was nothing to do with the scheduled maintinence. The realms are all working now although some are still having minor issues.
The articles was written yesterday so was correct at the time of publication.
Thanks for the kind words ;)
*Goes back to shaking in a dark corner*
Forget GTA and other high profile games - If the media actually care about these issues like they pretend to then they would focus their attacks on these sort of games - not games like Mass Effect and GTA 4.
Ban it as far as I am concerned...one less sh1t game for us to have to sieve through.
This game was designed for shock value and to cash in on knife crime culture. Nothing more. It will not cause crime but it is just tasteless.
thankyou!
I am glad someone pointed that out.
He is also being ironic I think.
In complaining about controversial articles he has written just that, a controversial article filled with opinion.
Tongue in cheek.
I hope this article is meant to be ironic. I think it is.
In complaining about controversial articles for page views he has done just that. Created a controversial article - and got page views.
I also think it is satirical.
According to the M-Festival's website this started YESTERDAY!
Why post this news now?!??
She hosted the event YESTERDAY so she has hardly "signed on".
May want to research a bit more.
It was actually in the news recently that he wanted it to cost less.
Be kind to me. :P
It was called Batman Begins (surprise surprise) and appeared on the PS2 and Xbox.
Sorry if I read your comment wrong but I hope that helps :)
The problem was he was never asked for the code that was emailed to him. It never gave him the opportunity to insert it throughout the sign up process.
Where were you supposed to add it?
...and you have failed at spelling and grammar.
Why don't you stop being so far up your own ass and instead, tell me where I went wrong?
I feel sorry for the developers who now have to release a game where the cover is already out of date.
Credit where credit is due - EA has dealt with the issue very fast indeed.
you are also a reported Xbot...
Nice work by EA.
what a surprise...this is the Daiy Mail. The UK newspaper that LOVES to scaremonger. They are a trashy paper.
I have reported this.
This is nothing but propaganda.
I wouldnt say "completely" lol but it is definitely getting there.
It is all based on what you own now it seems:
Wii and Wii sports = seemingly not geeky
PS3/360 with Singstar or Madden = seemingly non geeky
Ps3/360 with Killzone or Gears of War = GEEKY
:( sigh. When will the persecution end?
