"and both seem to be doing pretty good business."

The games have always made tonnes of money...profit does not equal quality.

The amount of mistakes in that article is worrying. N4G members should take more pride in the articles they approve. Is it wrong to hope for some editorial standards?

Just another sh1te article from HiphopGamer in the hope of generating hits. Stop giving them to him!

Star WArs?

As in start with a great game and progressively get worse with every sequel?

(couldn't resist, I love halo really).

@2.3

How is it the Xbox? It may be down to the American and western market but directing it at an American console is very ignorant.

Didnt it have them?

Thats bad. I would have thought it would have been industry-standard for subtitles to allow people who are hard of hearing to enjoy the game.

Hopefully it won't be long until its a requirement in every game.

Xbox 360 version as well? or just the PS3?

I agree that one is a service and one is technically not. However the "store" trounces the "service" in terms of userbilty and that is why there is a comparison

Steam allows a profile page, friends lists, etc.

It is basically like LIVE for the PC.

and what about Xfire? Thats even more like LIVE minus the store.

yeah im sure they are. They just always seem to be behind everyone rather than spotting the next big thing first.

Why do they want to focus more on Windows?

With Cloud-Computing taking off soon within the next 10 years, there really will be no need for Desktop based operating systems. Just an internet connection and a basic OS to connect to the cloud.

Google will likely take that market with their latest product: Gdrive.

Sigh.

sad to see jobs go at Xbox. Just ditch Zune! Zune had a 50% sales decrease whilst the xbox division is plodding along quite heal...

I think he means a bad business move for Ubisoft who may lose PS3 revenue. For all we know, MS paied Ubisoft though so that could cover it.

Its not a scam....its just a bit useless.

One quote from the article:

"how could these guys get away with asking for a fee and taking people’s money on the promise that they might get some back?”"

Surely that's an argument against ANY kind of insurance...idiot.

"why do people blame sony for that, it's available in the SDK the DEVS have to implement it"

Because they don't make it compulsory.

Cool features - as people have said, not everyone wants JUST game updates.

This game was really fun! Always personally preferred it to Age of Empires.

Thanks for the intellectual response.

It wasn't a personal attack and I apologise for my rudeness if it was you who wrote the article.

An idea for your next article:

"What if Dead Space had Multiplayer"

Hint: It would mean more than one person would play together.

What if this article got refused?

Just another boring hypothetical story by some no name site.

That is complete crap by the EU.

Have they not seen the statistics for Firefox and Chrome etc. Sure, they are no where near that of IE but they still show that competition is around.

The avearage customer will not have any idea about different browsers etc, and this is largely because they dont want to. They just want to check their Hotmail or watch a few YouTube videos. "Competition" could never win over these customers because they just dont care about a...
