That's pretty much it :) With the monthly contests we try to show our users appreciation in as broad a way as possible and incorporate other "special" contests where the budget allows! (usually holidays)

It's definitely tough! Some months the competition is so stiff there's as many as 10-15 really good finalists.

Yep, things got a little "hacky" with the IndieMonth blog (no other account can actually use the bold, italic, so on tags or embed images in the same way). Same reasons for the "spammy" blog column, the dev team monkeyed up what they could while maintaining warp speed on development of the N4G update.
Coolbeans is super jealous of IndieMonth's blog formatting powerz. ;)

Yes, Keita Takahashi was the director of Katamari Damacy - I think the last of the Katamari's he was involved in was "We Love Katamari". He also did Noby Noby Boy. :)

I know, right? Different government/cultures maternity/paternity policies are so wildly different! When my friend in Taiwan has her kids, she stays in a "postpartum hotel" for a full month afterwards (with catered meals and doctors and nurses on call)!
