@FFXl101: It's not the same thing, though. Like MW3 for example, the flinches are worse than COD4. And throwing bombs while being hit doesn't even DROP the grenade! It does nothing!
Want more? There are times that you shoot someone and it doesn't really register.
MW2 is pretty damn close to being a perfect sequel to COD4, it's only problem is that the balancing is not there. COD4 is the pinnacle of the series.

There aren't too many casual games on the market - sure, but the interface is aiming at casuals. It's easy to use, and intuitive to use.

Um. I'm like "Doh!" Of course they'll make a new call of duty game next year. It's already codenamed Iron Wolf.
I don't believe the next Call of Duty game will be called "Black Ops 2." Treyarch has a habit of changing names with their games.
World At War and Black Ops are different names. Iron Wolf may be a code name, but I believe the next game in the series will be different.

Treyarch tried to remove the whole quickscoping mechanic, they tried to make it harder for quickscoping to be done, but because COD fans are the persisting bunch... some found a technique on how to be able to quickscope, people caught wind and was able to quickscope.
The quickscoping in Black Ops isn't the same one found in COD4. MW2 made quickscoping a whole lot easier.. vice versa.

I'm surprised by the lack of Dead Island talk.
Even though a FPS title, the game seems modern enough for the market to sustain their tastes.
To me, Dead Island got pretty damn close to the whole Resident Evil feel. Pretty damn close.
