Ground Heroes probably isn't ready to be revealed as a live reel. They're saving this for next year's E3. And to give Metal Gear Rising a lot of breathing room to succeed.
Microsoft has confirmed that Halo 5 is indeed coming. They said they plan a new trilogy starting with Halo 4.
Don't hold your breath. Metroid Prime was released a year AFTER GameCube came out.
Well, it HAS been at least 6 years. A new Metroid game is inevitable.
Other M was in 2010, but developed by Team Ninja.
Other than that, yeah, new Metroid game is definitely coming. However, it won't be for another while.
Until an engine can do something like Avatar in real time without lowering the framerate to 30 fps, then we know graphics has hit a ceiling, until then... Sorry, but no cigar.

I agree with Larry in the Mortal Kombat inclusion.
Scorpion or Sub Zero would not fit in the All Stars chaos, so I would have to choose someone who's quick on their toes, or even a big character like...
Goro, Kintaro, or Shao Khan.
They don't need to. Raiden's around the level of Snake in popularity, so it would be pointless. I think the character will be a cyborg ninja. Either Grey Fox, or MGS2's Ninja will suit this very well.
