Nope. Not deeply, it's waaaaaay too obvious. I mean, the filing took place only mere weeks after God of War Ascension.
AND they (anything, really) don't have to say "this trademark means they want to expand Kratos from just a character, to his own game." It's called clues, and subtlety.
It would appeal to the masses. Thing is, Dynasty Warriors/Kessen wasn't appealing as a game alone.
Now, don't get me wrong I used to love Dynasty Warriors and I even bought a few games for it. However, the appeal died off quickly because it's little bit like Call of Duty, that "cut n' past" rehash. It gets stale after a while. And the story was pretty non-existent to a point. The story is petty much in the background, not in front of your face like G...
I want to see that, but it has to be executed right.
Actually, you're right in one aspect, but this trademark means they want to expand Kratos from just a character, to his own game. I mean, the trademark filing also covers "computer game software," and "digital game software" meaning a new game with "Kratos" slapped on top of the boxart is possible.
I, mean, in GOW3 he killed himself. There's a lot of things you can do with a "dead character" especially one that's already a l...
Thing is, for PS3, the specs justified the purchase. I even bought it at $600. Granted, it stung like a bee, but I thought "What the hell, it's Sony." Then MGS4 was about to release a whole year from the date of the purchase. I got my price-match at $500 because of the price drop that Sony made at the time.
People don't buy things just because of price. They buy things because of the brand. 50 Million Xbox 360 owners will flock unless Microsoft really f*cks ...
I thought Solomon Gundy was intimidating in Batman: Arkham City. Granted, it was an easy boss battle once you get the hang of trying to beat him, but it was awesome to meet him for the first time.
Too bad he's not this "big baddie" in Injustice, tho. His size in Injustice is weaksauce compared to what you see in Arkham City.
I guess you can't even see his reaction when I shot him from under? WOW...
What you talking about, the body disappeared from scanner view. Meaning he DID die.
When I read this story, I thought "Isn't that the whole point of 'always-on' DRM?"
Yeah, no... Pass.
Seconded.
This YouTube channel is a IGN Network Director, much like Machinima's network of YouTubers.

I felt that the name seems out of place....
This reveal trailer wasn't the actual reveal. This teaser site was the reveal before the trailer reveal. A screencap that looks eerily like a Modern Warfare title? That's reveal enough.
It's not really 8 days before April, try 3 weeks before April. So, YES, it is a break of pattern. Because like I said before, reveals are usually a April/May staple. Late April/Early May to be precise.
Actually, this "reveal" had a whole month before this reveal dropped. I can't believe you can't even understand that. The reveal started on the second week of march.
And, the reveal is usually late in April, so this difference is 1 or two months. That's a huge difference if you ask me.
Once again, it's not usual that Activision allows for a reveal this early. It's usually either in April, or May.
If you bothered to see the video... you'd know that they ARE hinting at Ghost making a return.
It's not typical of Activision and co. to reveal a Call of Duty title this early. It's usually either April (next month) or May. Unexpected is right.
I agree with spaceg0st. The appeal of the games after COD4 was that it could bring gamers together at a given time.
Should be longer!
