Many news sites are SAYING 60fps. With current gen tech, you're sacrificing graphics for speed. That's what he's saying.
To the article I said "Since I dunno, MW2 or BO2?"
Get your eyes checked. Those physics, that water, and a lot of those high rise details does not look current gen.
Resistance was going for plausible present, and "future" weapons - and some of the future weapons were a little bit about "crazy gun."
I agree, a break up is not necessary or smart. Sony's portfolio of companies is an integrated one, which the investor is not getting.
@3.4.5 - It's not that he's "powerful" but if one speaks up about breaking up companies, other investors will notice and start to want a piece of the pie. The investor ecosystem is tight knit to a point. One opinion can spread like a wildfire.
Yep.
I responded to the article like "Where have you been? They've always been about crazy guns!"
To the article, which I responded with a resounding "D'oh!" Then I read your comment.. "...Exactly."
I don't like this idea. It would mean dis-integrating Sony products from each other. Sony Entertainment is not just TV, it's also Blu-Ray, it's also films. It's just about everything that has to do with the overall PlayStation hardware.
When you disintegrate Sony Entertainment from Sony Electronics, you're pretty much screwing up the future viability of PS4 and related products.
Don't do it, Sony. Don't.
It's not that simple. Gun companies do sue game companies for "use" of the guns. See: Activision sued for gun use in MW3. Or, try finding the delta lawsuit, too.
Congratulations to the team at Gamertag Radio!
This.
Over a video game....
@BiggCMan, how is it surprising? Microsoft has made Call of Duty stuff exclusive to Xbox consoles since the inception of the series. COD2, COD3, all of these timed exclusive DLC... Yeah, not surprising. I wouldn't be surprised if CoDGhosts is exclusive to Xbox Next, either.
lol
Reminds me of Rambo NES. Buggy as hell, and I had to return it.
I'm being teeeeeeased! YAY!
....Not.
When I read the article, I said "I think it's the other way around." Then I saw your post, I said "EXACTLY!"
Nobody's stupid enough to use a unproven name (e.g CODGhosts) for current gen. It makes more sense to put it on next gen.
...You couldn't resist, could you. Companies have their reasons for not doing other companies' IP's. For example, Gearbox could've developed a Call of Duty title, but because they feel their creative freedom would be stifled, they shunned it.

Actually, as much as I hate hackers.. This one deserves more respect, because - he's doing something a lot of developers "can't do." They can do it, but not like this. This guy needs a job.
