Yeah, I know who Moriarty is. Just wasn't sure if that was the Colin you were talking about.
Either way, "best open world" is a very high bar to reach.
"Only if it’s not a Sony exclusive is what I’ve learned on this site. "
Then you are very selective in what you read on this site. According to you, this whole "downgrade" conversation shouldn't even be happening here because it is a Sony exclusive. Nice job debunking your entire argument (the whining part anyway) with the first sentence.
If I bought a TV that advertised to have HDR and it didn't then that is a advertising regulatory issue. If I bought a console that claimed it could play PS2 games but could not then that is a advertising regulatory issue. If a game was advertised as being native 4k but was not then that is a advertising regulatory issue. These are very concrete examples and would result in the companies being forced by the agencies of various governments, such as the Federal Trade Commission in the US,...
DF is wrong. Someone named YongYea said so. Yeah. I'm convinced.
/s
Is this YongYea guy the same guy who told you Spider-man was coming to Xbox?
Great. None of that is a downgrade. It is stylistic choices as DF firmly pointed out. If you don't like them then that is just fine as you already said you were going to wait for the Xbox version. lol.....yeah, about that.
Why are you pretending CPDR set some legal precedent with their disclaimers? That for the sake of PR, not from fear of litigation. That was to head off a bunch of idiots yapping about stylistic changes pretending they are downgrades. Regardless...
"I think the suit looks more like plastic now than before"
You are just making shit up. Here. DF:
"When in shadow, the final game exhibits a softer, diffuse appearance which is arguably more realistic - the E3 demo simply appears overly shiny and more plastic-like in comparison. "

"In this case the game was not downgraded AT ALL."
Fixed

A lighting downgrade? So when the sun goes down......it is actually the sun being downgraded?
And you have no idea what you are talking about as far as false advertising. Just stop.
2077 will have its time. Right now, it is all about Spidey.
I'll not say either way until I play.
Who is Collin?
No reason to be upset about a fanboy saying he doesn't like a game he hasn't played. I just like to pick at trolls such as yourself.
@MoonConquistador
"I'm a Sony fan. I read the article. I think it's a great idea. "
Same here.
@Tekolie
"in the eyes of some. "
You can make a factually accurate statement of just about anything you want if you add those words to the end of the sentence.
"yet people are still coming in with the "lol Forbes" and "what about their exclusives?" Lines....
Does it make you feel good to associate a massive number of people with a few who posted some short-sighted comments? Frankly, says more about you than it does about them.
As far as bugs in an open world game, Witcher 3 turned out really well. Nothing like the bugs in games Bethesda, Bioware, and Ubisoft have released.
If this game were on Xbox, you'd be screaming your love for "men in tights" like you were Mel Brooks. Must suck to have to resort to stalking articles for consoles that actually make great games for their fans.
lol.....more people still buy physical than digital. Nothing wrong with that. People like to buy physical objects.
2002? lol.....add about 7 years.
They do address the BS 'downgrade' some accused Insomniac of doing on Spider-man.
"With the specific example of the reduction in puddles for Marvel’s Spider-Man, all of the developers I speak with agree that they were likely stripped back for a different reason entirely: readability. In the original E3 screenshot, puddles dominate the scene. It’s important for the player to be able to parse enemy silhouettes and make out what threats they are up against, so the...
Which is why he called it "notable". Not every game needs to push a genre "forward". Most games do well to focus on execution and delivering a great game. Seems Insomniac did that and I'm grateful.
I don't. First time I've ever seen a review not post the name of the reviewer. Thus, my comment.
The Assassin's gameplay is still pretty good even with the highs and lows. But the whole Animus nonsense never seemed to have any kind of direction from the beginning. I don't even know what that is supposed to be about anymore. It has turned into a needless distraction from was has typically been pretty good games.
