Yep. I'm 100% behind MS on this. Ignore all the teasing about MS losing exclusives and ignore all the disgruntled Xbox fan whining whenever I mention playing Xbox games on PC. I'm getting more games and all the fussing on n4g doesn't change that.

Technically, PS Now is not backwards compatibility in any way shape or form. It is streaming. Different thing altogether.

How many PS2 classics are there on PS4? Something like 50? That's not what I would call responding to huge demand.
Like I said, Sony charging for BC isn't out of the realm of possibilities. I just don't think it is probable. We will see. These are all just predictions. If Sony goes into next gen and charges anything to play PS4 games on PS5 then I will be shocked. That would be a major error that would rise to the level ...

Is it far-fetched? No, I never said that. I said it would be stupid. Obviously they could have added PS1 and PS2 BC at any time with PS4, but frankly, I doubt there has been very much demand for that. Again, BC is great when transitioning generations, but at some point, there is diminishing value. Look at BC on Xbox One. Has it changed the console race at all? No, it has not.
Sony can't afford to launch PS5 without PS4 BC. To me, leaving out PS4 BC is not even a debatable option. They would essentially be handing the next gen to Xbox wrapped up with a ribbon on top. And nothing about this suggests Sony is going to charge for it. The fact that no changes to game code are required to implement is pretty much spelling that out. Sony would be crazy to not bring forward all the PS4 games to the PS5 on launch day when BC is most important.

That report shows AMD CPU/GPU sales to manufacturers, not 360 sales to consumers. Microsoft still supports Xbox 360 so they have to have part on hand to do so.
