Ok, but how many RDR 2 reviews of 10/10 and articles lavishing praise on RDR 2 did you scroll past to find those four articles? And one of those articles you linked actually is defending "boring" games like RDR 2 has been accused of being. The other three are not exactly trashing RDR 2 either.

Yeah, the more I played Odyssey the more I realized this isn't a "reskin" of Origins at all. Sure there are some common mechanics but that is true across all video games. Origins didn't have the Cult hunt where you have to find clues about your veiled targets. Origins only had a small bit of the ship battles which Odyssey brought back from Black Flag. And I don't remember enemies scaling as much in Origins as in Odyssey. If I remember ...

It is not either/or. We have no numbers. It isn't "millions" sold or "millions" played via subs. It is "millions" and we have no idea how those "millions" are distributed. Also, you are forgetting Game Pass Trials. How many of those who have "played" SoT and then cancelled? No one knows. Having "played" does not mean much in that case. MS makes it really hard for anyone to gauge their success. This is entirely speculation. ...

Based on? We don't have any numbers as to how many Game Pass subscribers there are. We certainly also do not know things like how much revenue MS gained because of Game Pass or how many GP subscribers played Sea of Thieves. We don't know how many physical or digital copies of SoT were sold either. MS doesn't reveal any of this. I don't see how anyone can come to any sort of conclusion as to how successful or unsuccessful GP has been across Xbox One and Windows 10.
