Well both consoles have been the same price for a while now yet the PS4 continues to double the xbone sales weekly, so that was redundant bringing that up.
I don't think anyone's saying those extra 44 markets for the xbone wont produce a spike in sales, but they are saying after the initial release the PS4 will keep outselling it and continue to increase the sales gap. And that's bassed on sound historical sales figures.

Actually, if we just look at January of this year up until now, the xbone is actually doing worse than the 360 and by a significant amount.
The xbone's current trajectory is set to be a lot less than the 360s lifetime sales so I suggest you prepare yourself for that.

As long as the PS4 isn't held back and gets a reasonable amount of optimisation time I don't mind MS spending money to bring this game up to 1080p.
But that money could be used to fund other new games. Seems like a bit of a waste to me. I guess ms really hates losing.
That's a very good question. MS has to spend all this money and resources just to bring the game up to 1080p and there's still going to be advantages for the PS4 version as long as bungie takes advantage of the hardware.
I can imagine it would get very expensive for them very quickly if this becomes a trend. My guess is it will just be for the high sellers.

MS acted like they were the sh*t, like they were untouchable when the PS3 actually outsold them. They smugly touted their draconian DRM and said deal with it or buy a 360 like there was no competition. It was literally insane.
I couldn't have done a better job of sabotaging the xbone if I was given unconditional control and my life depended on it.
MS was definitely scummy for doing this, but it's not going to end them at all.
