Well to each his own..but I rather get 20 good solid hours of solid gameplay and storylines then repitious gameplay over and over from those games you listed. Every gamer is different but when it comes to value..I think more gamers would say paying full price for a Nintendo title is way beyond worth compared to recycled yearly sequels. You may get 100's of hours of gameplay, but its like being a robot doing the same thing everytime you play.
Get both....save up so you can enjoy it two ways...if anything thats what birthdays are for lol!

If your a portable gamer, a Vita is a good companion to have along side a 3DS...but its really not worth being your exclusive portable gaming experience. The 3DS is just to dominant with much more support to be ignored.So if it is going to be a complimentary handheld go for it,if not, 3DS is the way to go!

Yes but one, that was their first attempt on a Nintendo platform...two, it was not 3D like these titles were, it was top down and three it sold better on DS then it did PSP which only sold 1 million!!
