Can't wait for Alienation and Ratchet. But I kind of think it's a mistake for Sony to release Alienation, MLB, Ratchet and Uncharted four in the span of just a month.
Well I think smart people did objectively look at the Wii U library. It's Nintendo fanboys who think their lineup is much better than it was. And you thought Splatoon commercials were good??? I thought they were amongst the worst video game commercials of all time.
Normally I don't care about BC but the NX better be BC and you better be able to use the game pad on any NX game.
No way. Sony and Microsoft have ecosystems. They have cross buy and gamerscores and friends lists. It's far too late for Nintendo because people aren't converting. The NX will only sale to Nintendo fanboys and people like me who buy all consoles but are already well aware that I wont play many games on a Nintendo console.
Terrible article. Author does not mention Rise of the Tomb Raider or Titanfall because they also released on 360, but does mention LBP3 which released on both PS3 and PS4. He also neglected to mention Sunset Overdrive.
What if Sony would have bought Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and Tomb Raider exclusivity? What if Sony bought Gears of War? What if Sony released their epic 2013 PS3 games as PS4 launch games? What if Microsoft was bought out by Rovio?

PS4 has the best followed by XB1. But they both have a good year. Wii U not so much.

I don't get how the word gimmick is so frequently used with VR. VR is going to take over. It is very far from a gimmick. Multi-billion dollar companies will be created by VR. It may not take off right away but VR is far from a gimmick. I wouldn't be surprised if this century people begin to literally live in virtual worlds.
Yeah innovation is terrible. We should be playing Super Mario Bros 19 on our NES until 2D platformer design is perfected. Who needs anything new or visually impressive.

The problem with your theory is the Wii U doesn't get nearly as many indie games as the other two consoles.
Wii U had 3 good exclusives (Mario Maker, Splatoon, and Xenoblade). PS4 and XB1 had Bloodbourne, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Ori and the Blind Forest, Forza, Super Stardust Ultra, The Nathan Drake Collection, Olli Olli 2, Rocket League, Final Fantasy X Remaster, Tearaway Unfolded, Disagea 5, Gears of War remaster, and Rare Replay. Plus a ton of great 3rd party games that Wii U didn't get.
I give the Wii U a lot of crap, and it deserves it. But I just got around to playing Mario Maker and it is my GOTY. I didn't even think I would like it because I normally don't like games that you make stuff. Now I need another WiiU. Anyone know of any discounts. $300 seems like a lot for such an old console.
No idea how this fabricated story became a controversy. XB1 and WiiU don't allow you to download old games for free. I would expect PS2 games to be $10-$15 on PS4, but these are actually enhanced versions. Gamers are cheap and always complaining about a few dollars.
