We cannot agree on that. I am very excited to use the weapons from WWI instead of playing yet another game where every weapon is some dull automatic rifle that holds 30 rounds.

I think the PS4K will launch this year, but don't worry because all PS4 versions will be supported for at least another 4 years.
However I do think an "Xbox Two" may launch next year. A 1.5 simply isn't gonna cut it - they need to reboot their brand as soon as possible.
If the rumored specs are true, and what this dev is saying turns out to be true - then the headline should be "It is insanely easy to develop for multiple consoles in 2016".
After all the design differences between both PS4's is almost non-existent.

But let's face facts! The 360 came last in hardware sales, last in physical game sales, less in digital compared to PS3, it destroyed people's discs, and it's failure rate was like 70% for first couple years ( And remained at around 30% for the next 2).

Consoles are already like this - you just don't have the option to upgrade.
I am so amused by the people that think you have to upgrade constantly on PC. I built my cousin a 1080P gaming PC 4 years ago (Slightly weaker than PS4, but Stronger than X1). He can run games just as well now as he could back then, and he is currently enjoying Dark Souls 3 quite a bit.
And if he wants 4K gaming? He can switch out 1 part. That's the difference.
What you said just makes absolutely no sense. What tinkering will be required for Playstation owners?
Or for that matter what tinkering do you think is required for PC users? Sure every now and then you come across a lazily made game and you have to fix something, but for the most part Pc is just as "Plug and play" as console. Hell some console games dont even work without tinkering these days (As pathetic as that is)

Yes I would estimate the specs make the PS4K 2-3x stronger than the OG PS4. It really could run some decent games at native 4K 30 fps.
in fact I would say it is borderline a generation ahead of the Xbox One.
Look I don't agree with their decision, but they decided that 60 FPS for multiplayer was more important than 1080p.
But yeah you are right the X1 was quite impressive with its 900p @ 24FPS QTE Singleplayer-only game Ryse. How impressive indeed.
